The stroller is lightweight and easy to fold. Beautifully adjustable. We ride it around town and in the mountains and it's great - it can withstand bad terrain in the mountains (very rocky).

This pushchair is really roomy if you have a larger baby. The hood is a great size - it's large and keeps them covered. It's a strong steady pushchair.

The fold is really easy there's a little handle under the seat you just pull it, and it's folded in half. To unfold unclip the little lock on the side and pull. It's easy.

My only dislike with the pushchair is it's quite heavy and quite wide and the back. But if you don't live in flats or somewhere where you would have to carry it up and down, then it wouldn't be too bad. The two back wheels do come off if you had to fit this in a car boot.

Is it possible to remove the front wheel so that I can wash it? I’ve removed the back wheels but can’t work it if the front wheel comes off. Many thanks in advance.

The front wheel should come off, yes. It is not totally straightforward - look for a metal little pin that should be pushed in, or a release mechanism on the underside.

Will the parent tray from the Litetrax 4 fit this model?

No, it won't, unfortunately, the handle has a bit of a different size and angle and the parent tray won't fit.

Does the Litetrax 3 come with the parent tray?

No, the three-wheeled version doesn't come with the parent organizer/tray, no.

Is it suitable for tall people, can the handle bar adjust ?

I will disappoint you but no, the handlebar on the basic Litetrax series is fixed, so it doesn't adjust at all. This is a pushchair better for shorter to average people as the handle is at 100 cm, and I wouldn't really recommend it to a very tall parent, no. For an adjustable handlebar, check the Joie Mytrax instead.

My baby is 5months old and is has grown out of the capsule . We have a Litrax3 travel system and I would like to know from which month onwards we can use the stroller alone for him.

This pushchair actually can be used pretty much right from birth/for a small baby even in the seat area. The important thing there is to have the seat ALWAYS fully reclined until the time your baby will sit up WITHOUT HELP, by itself. Then you can incline the seat as needed. Also, you'll need to adjust the harness belts so that they will safely protect the baby, meaning being just around the baby, not overly loose.

All in all, you can absolutely start using your stroller even now if using it with the seat fully reclined. There is no limit here as the seat lies pretty much flat (or almost - more than 150 degrees recline is considered safe even for babies that don't sit by themselves just yet).

It's it compatible to be carried in cabin ?

No, this stroller's folded size is not cabin luggage compatible. As a mid-site stroller, it can only be taken as baby's luggage (which is usually free up to a certain age - do inform yourself at your airline) - they'll take it from you when boarding a plane and return it to you when getting off.

Can I connect a Maxi Cosi capsule to a Litetrax 3?

Yes, you can! You will need to Ramble/Joie adapters, which are the same type as Maxi-Cosi car seats adaptors. With these, you can attach a Maxi-Cosi capsule to the Joie Litetrax 3.

Yes, the Cybex Cloud Z car seat will fit on any Joie Litetrax pushchair frame WITH ADAPTERS, of course. The Joie set of car seat adaptors is compatible with Maxi-Cosi/Cybex and other brand car seats, and will accommodate the Cloud Z as well.

We are soon-to-be first-time parents and looking for a multi-terrain stroller option.

We enjoy walks outdoors so something durable and very stable for the outdoor terrain would be great.

A great question! Many parents do search for a similar, multi-terrain, versatile option while, of course, being affordable as well. Here, I will probably disappoint you, because the Joie Litetrax 3, as well as the Joie Litetrax 4 , are urban strollers with EVA wheels - and not too large at that. Small three-wheelers are never a good option for terrain - they'll perform best in shops or narrow aisles, and four wheels are more stable but usually just average, terrain-capability-wise.

If you need more terrain capability, I will suggest (if Joie is the brand you prefer), the Joie Mytrax . Its larger wheels with actual tires will perform better, even if not maybe the most all-terrain-ish ever. Also, the Joie Finiti might be interesting as it's a [article:|reverisble stroller]] which is usually first-time parents preference. A larger model such as a ABC Design Salsa 4 Air or a similar pram with larger air-filler wheels with suspension might also be a nice fit here.

My other advice, if outdoors is where you regularly plan to walk, would be getting a three-wheeled strollers over a four-wheeled one . I know, they come more expensive, but imagine the stroller being a car - a cheap, small car would just get broken in off-road, outdoorsy conditions. You usually want to invest a bit there, and also need to accept that a terrain pram or pushchair will simply be more substantial, heavier, bulkier... I would look at things like Britax B-Motion 3 Plus (or the Britax B-Motion 4 Plus if you can't get your hands on the three-wheeled version)...

I would also look at better brands second hand (like the Mountain Buggy , Phil&Teds , TFK , Baby Jogger ...). The stroller price does matter a lot - to performance, to quality... And so does the wheel size and material/quality.

I’d like to know how the stroller reclines if possible, please? I have had a Mama’s & Papa’s Armadillo and liked how that reclined (with a lever) however several others I’ve had since have a small fastening that has a small button you have to slide and I find them hard to recline.

The Joie Litetrax reclines with a strap that is connected to a small lever. So it IS the more difficult strap recline, but the recline system is a bit easier.

I, however, strongly recommend you to check out the Joie Litetrax 4 that reclines with a LEVER ONLY, so no straps on the four-wheeled stroller version 😊

Please check the size chart has printed out to the correct size by measuring the scale at the bottom of the chart, this must measure 10cm otherwise the indicated size may not be accurate.

Please fold the paper along the dotted line and place the chart on a hard surface against an immovable vertical surface such as a skirting board to help gain an accurate measure.

Place the left foot on the chart and record the length of the foot (e.g. 2¼) repeat for the right foot (e.g. 2½).

Based on these results a size 3 would be selected. As most people's feet are not the same size the size of shoe is determined by the largest foot.

Children will also need some growing room so if the fitting indicates either foot is longer than the full size it may be beneficial to order the next size up.

Dvortsovaya Naberezhnaya (Palace Embankment)

A unique feature of the Palace Embankment: half of the two dozen houses located here are palaces. One of them is famous throughout the world - the Winter Palace of the Russian imperial family. In fact it is doubly famous not only as a former royal palace, but also as home to the Hermitage, one of the world's greatest museums of art and the largest museum in Russia. Palace Embankment is also notable for the fact that it opens with perhaps the best views of the Neva River. On the opposite bank there are several attractions almost as famous as the Hermitage - the Rostral Columns on Vasilievsky Island and the Peter and Paul Fortress.

Construction of the embankment began on the left bank of the Neva in the first years of St. Petersburg opposite the Peter and Paul Fortress. It was initially called the Verkhnaya (Upper) Embankment. Only those who had a connection to the fleet or shipbuilding were allowed to live here. One of the first houses on the waterfront was that of Admiral General Fyodor Apraksin. It was originally built of wood in 1711, and then as a two-story stone palace in the Petrine Baroque style. This was the first palace of Peter I, and the house in which the founder of St. Petersburg lived and subsequently died in 1725. The walls of this small palace were later used in the construction of the Hermitage Theater.

After 1732, the Empress Anna Ivanovna told the architect Francesco Bartolomeo Rastrelli to expand and rebuild the Apraksin Mansion. Rastrelli turned it into the new Winter Palace, but this palace did not seem elegant and luxurious enough for the next ruler, Elizabeth Petrovna. She ordered Rastrelli to reconstruct the Winter Palace along grander lines. He died before the completion of the work. The current Winter Palace was not completed until 1762 under Catherine the Great, by which time its high baroque architecture and rococo decorations were rapidly going out of fashion. Its construction led to the naming of nearby Palace Square, the Palace Embankment, and Palace Bridge.

It should be noted that not only the Winter Palace but rather all the other buildings on the waterfront were originally built in the 18th century and rebuilt several times each time becoming more lush and majestic. The best architects of St. Petersburg worked on almost all of them for their first two centuries of existence: Domenico Trezzini, Giacomo Quarenghi, Carlo Rossi, Antonio Rinaldi, Jean-Baptiste Vallin de la Mothe, Alexander Briullov, Andrei Stackenschneider, and Yuri Felten. Under their leadership, the magnificent building of the Bolshoi and the Maly Hermitage, the Hermitage Theatre, the Marble Palace, Saltykov Home, Cantemir palace, Ivan Betsky Mansion (also known as the Palace of the Prince of Oldenburg) were all built. In the 19th century, the Novo-Mikhailovsky Palace, the Palace of Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich, and the state wing of the Marble Palace appeared near them.

Such grandiose construction work required serious strengthening of the banks of the Neva. Already in the mid-1710's wooden walls had been constructed and filled with sand and stones. The first granite embankment was built in 1763-66, and improved a decade later. Oak piles were laid in the ground and between them granite blocks held together with iron cramps. The whole structure was then filled with lead. Thus 100 meters of shoreline were placed into the river bed. Finally, the promenade was revived with granite creating the picturesque slopes to the water. It was decided to separate the embankment from the Summer Garden. Finally came the famous fence designed by Felten.

At the turn of the 20th century, Palace Bridge provided a permanent connection between the embankment and Vasilievsky Island, while Trinity Bridge connected it to the Petrograd Side. Both bridges are engineering masterpieces of the time. In 1923-1944, the embankment was named in honor of the events of January 9, 1905, when government troops opened fire on a peaceful demonstration of workers in St. Petersburg. During the Second World War, parts of the facades of buildings were severely damaged by bombs and artillery fire, but after the war extensive restoration work was carried out.

Today, many people walk on Palace Embankment. There are a lot of people strolling, admiring the spectacular views during the day and the opening of the bridges at night. From the docks in front of the Hermitage, Meteor hydrofoils set sail along the Neva to the park and palaces at Peterhof.
