This is TaylorMade's top staff bag and it has used the color palette seen on its excellent Stealth 2 drivers to decorate its tour standard golf bag. This is as practical as you'd expect a tour bag to be with 12 pockets in total and a 6-way top that is lined with velour to protect your clubs and provide a premium feel.

Having the Stealth logo on the top of the bag adds to the quality this bag delivers. As we have seen in our best drivers and best irons guides, the Stealth range is a class above many other clubs on the market for performance and quality. While this logo will eventually date the bag when the next line is released, we still loved the combination of black and red this bag delivers.

Most importantly though, manufacturers cannot pay for a good review because we tell it how we see it. Every member of the Golf Monthly team is an avid golfer and as such, knows what does and doesn't make for a good stand bag. 

As far as our methodology goes, if we say we have reviewed a product, that means we have done so properly. We endeavour to use all the features on the bag. That means, for example, if the valuables pocket claims to be waterproof, we will pour water on it to find out. If a strap claims it is comfy, we'll carry that bag over multiple rounds. This comprehensive testing style is not just exclusive to golf bags either, we test using the same ethos and methodology across all gear categories, from golf balls to putters.

How to choose a golf bag

So, you might be wondering which tour golf bag is best for you. Well, when picking a tour golf bag there are several things you need to consider to ensure you get the right bag for your needs. 

Tour bags are generally heavier than some of the best stand bags and pencil bags on the market. They are bulkier, more padded and have a lot more features that are designed to cater for the needs of professional golfers. Troon Launch First Indoor City Golf in Moscow

Troon, the upscale golf course management company has once more demonstrated its ability to develop and grow the game of golf in all-new regions with the recent announcement that it will operate a stunning new indoor golfing facility, located in the centre of Moscow. Under the stewardship of the industry-specialists, City Golf offers a unique experience, committed to encouraging a family atmosphere throughout, with evening events and competitions specifically designed for golfers of all abilities and ages. Troon’s appointment adds further precedence to the development and builds on the market-leaders impressive academy portfolio within Europe and around the globe.

The indoor development, the first of its kind in Moscow, features ten state-of-the-art simulators making it the largest indoor golf facility in Russia. Located directly opposite the Kremlin and within Red October, the facility features amenities synonymous with all Troon Golf Academies, including tuition and custom fitting with dedicated PGA Professional golfers and the very latest in golf equipment. Moscow Country Club Becomes Latest European Tour Destination

European Tour Properties has extended its portfolio of Destinations by welcoming Moscow Country Club as the 28 th  venue within its extensive network of world-class venues.

Situated only an hour outside of Moscow, the club features Russia’s first 18-hole championship course and will host the Staysure Tour’s VTB Russian Open Golf Championship (Senior) from August 17-19, 2018.

The Country Club combines five-star hospitality with top-quality golf in a tranquil setting close to the Russian capital, and this new partnership extends the network to 28 venues within 21 countries, across three continents.

The course itself was designed by renowned architect Robert Trent Jones II and is nestled within dense Russian forest of thick firs and birches, offering a fascinating landscape for any golfer.

In addition to golf, Moscow Country Club features a five-star hotel, cottages and townhouses to rent throughout the year, and a choice of eight restaurants for guests to enjoy.

With an indoor and outdoor pool, state-of-the-art gym, tennis courts and other leisure activities, the extensive facilities at Moscow Country Club make the venue a strong addition to European Tour Properties’ network.
