What a unique and beautiful venue! Had no idea where we were going for this wedding. Had no idea it's really a ranch lol the only issue is having to find where the ceremony was outside. The signs were a bit off and unclear so groups of people were lost a bit trying to find the exact garden area it's at. Some were late. Other than that it was perfect weather for an outdoor wedding. Any hotter would have been hard. But it was fine. It was pretty out. Our friends got married smoothly. The outdoor ceremony will make for good pictures. We also enjoyed some time before the reception walking the grounds. Our daughter loved how there were animals! Peacocks walking about. Zebras and even goats coming up to us. It was totally fun. The reception area once inside was nice and cold. And white. Very pretty. Loved how there were appetizers while we waited for dinner and the wedding party to enter. Everything seemed to go quite smoothly which I know is owed to the coordinator at this venue. With so many guests and tables they coordinated it pretty well. Was efficient. The sound system for the speeches could have been louder so the back of the room can hear better. But the food I thought was pretty yummy. Was thrilled to find out it was Chinese food. Quite fun and tasty. Really enjoyed sharing those family style dishes. I think lobster was still my fave out of all the dishes. Ample and nice sized to share. Cake was pretty. I think this venue is quite unique. Quite smart in a way too. It can have multiple weddings going at the same time too. I am always a fan of a venue serving it's own food inhouse. It comes out hotter and fresher vs catered from elsewhere. All in all pretty impressed. Definitely one of the better wedding venues we've been to and we've been to a lot of weddings. Really enjoyed it. And not too out of the way or far either. Very special

Recently celebrated a wedding here in the Magnolia Ballroom for ~330 people. Working with the coordinators went so smoothly and they made sure to answer all the questions we had - regarding anything and everything! We worked with Cassidy for the event, and during the event she made sure to keep us updated with the status of food and drinks and anything else. Phenomenal service here! Would love to come back for another event.

We had our wedding at safari Texas in October (Roman garden and palm pavilion room). Both areas were so gorgeous. Beth was our Safari coordinator and she was absolutely amazing to work with! She is so kind and truly went above and beyond to make our day perfect in ever way. We couldn't have done it with out her.

We had a wonderful banquet for our Dulles High school team at Safari Texas. The staff was amazing in the planning process and helped us pick all the options that were easiest for our event. The day of the event was truly amazing - everything was set up according to plan, and the staff checked in with us regularly. The banquet turned out beautifully! The food served was remarkably delicious. We were so happy with how the event turned out! Thank you so much Safari Texas!

Been to several (probably close to 100) weddings here over the years and have also hosted my child's 1st birthday party in one of the smaller ballrooms. From the perspective of a guest, this place is not well-maintained. The parking lot design is terrible, the lines are faded making it difficult to see where the parking spaces are. The bathrooms in the main (Texas) ballroom are always gross, smelling like sewage and often times something is leaking and the floors are wet. I've noticed at several receptions that the plate chargers on the tables are chipped. The food is usually a miss - the standard rubber chicken ensemble, typically lacking flavor. I noticed at a recent wedding reception that they now offer Indian food as an in-house catering option provided by the facility. I'm surprised it took them so long considering Indian weddings have been one of their main revenue sources. When we had my son's 1st birthday there 12 years ago, we chose to do the in-house Thai food catering. I remember when we had the food tasting it was really good, but the day of the event the food was so spicy that multiple guests complained to us. Overall, I think the food is not consistent, the venue is not kept clean and maintained, and the staff tends to be rude. But they are one of the few venues in Houston that can hold large amounts of guests while being cost efficient. And Safari's management definitely benefits from that.

Very affordable and the staff is easy to work with. I did a few modifications with my decorator and turned The Forum into something beautiful. My daughters Sweet 16 was everything! Alyssa was our coordinator at Safari and helpful. Shout out Dare II Decor for the decorations! (832) 710-7158

We celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary at Safari Texas Palm Ball room. Chloe was ore host for our event. It was well organized, planned and coordinated events. Staff was amazing. Bartender was excellent. He was polite and friendly. What can I say about food!! It was one of the best food we had for this kind of event. I commend chef for preparing wonderful meals for appetizer and dinner buffet. Our guest were really enjoyed the event. Thanks to Safari Texas for making our event memorable.

We had our wedding January 2021. We worked with Sohini in planning our wedding at Safari Ranch. We initially booked the Texas ballroom anticipating a larger head count. Due to Covid we were able to move to the infinity ballroom due to lower guest count. Sohini and her team did a good job at being precautions during the pandemic and ensuring safety protocols were followed. We would highly recommend working with Sohini and Safari ranch for any couples looking for a wedding venue.

WE had a guest count of 450 and everyone loved the space and the food! We had no complaints! our wedding reception was absolutley perfect!

For purposes of describing our experience, I'll just share a letter of thanks that we sent to the venue after they hosted our reception: Dear Safari Texas Ranch, We wanted to let you know how deeply appreciative we are of your hosting and handling of our wedding reception of January 22 in your Infinity Ballroom. It really could not have gone better than it did, and we thank your staff for their efforts and hospitality. Not only was it a stress-free and wonderful experience for us, but our guests loved being there and gushed to us with praise - about the food, about the venue, and so on. So thank you again. This was the biggest night of our lives, and everything you did was noticed and felt, and we are so happy. We'd like to just properly acknowledge with some specificity some of the people / aspects of the service: The wait staff were so professional and courteous. Everything ran on time. And honestly, we didn't even notice them. They were invisible in the best possible way, if that makes sense. They did a fantastic job! The gentleman who were at the two bars were so nice and welcoming to our guests. We received many comments from our guests about what a good job they did! There was a gentleman who was helping Sohini Tomar the night of our reception. I sincerely apologize - I cannot remember his name :( But as the groom, I spoke with him several times during the course of the night. He was so helpful and conscientious. He did many small things to help us without asking, and asked us about some of the big things. Particularly at the end of the night, he did us a great big favor by having the food and cake packed in such a neat and tidy manner. All of it was greatly appreciated. I wish I could remember his name, but it's escaping me. Sohini will know! A big thank you to everyone who we interacted with, even for a moment during the entire A-to-Z of engaging with your venue. The personnel in the office who we briefly spoke with when we dropped off payments. The personnel who hosted us during our tasting. I'm surely forgetting some people, but just know that everyone who helped us was wonderful. The chefs! The food was incredible. Just to give some context, our menu had both Vietnamese and Indian food items. We know this is probably fairly irregular, and wanted to thank the administration for allowing us to have such a unique food experience for our guests. All of the guests loved it. I cannot emphasize this enough. And the food itself was incredible. I cannot tell you how many people on both sides of our wedding guests asked about the food, where was it from, etc, and just expressed how much they enjoyed it. We've all been to weddings where perhaps the venue is an A but the food is maybe a B or a C. We were so happy that the food for our party was incredible. Again, everyone really loved it - and to be very honest, this was a TOUGH crowd who you all wowed, who have all had their share of less-than-great Indian and Vietnamese dining experiences. You all did it beautifully. And finally, a HUGE thank you to Sohini Tomar, who was our point of contact throughout the whole experience of planning and executing on our reception. She was so easy to work with, and we were always sure that Sohini listened to us and was able to address our particular concerns or sticking points to the best of her ability. That is honestly all you can want. We know for example that Sohini helped make sure that some late arriving guests were properly fed and seated, and it means alot to us that she was able to make them feel welcome without a hitch. Again, everything on 1/22 went beautifully, and we know how much of a big role Sohini played in making that happen for us. We've tried to capture some of this feedback for you, so that we can properly acknowledge what a great experience you've provided to us on such an important occasion for both of our families. It's not just our own feelings and observations, but the feelings and observations of our family and friends who also helped us considerably on that day and were also appreciative of all that you did, and the feelings of our guests who really just enjoyed the event and were happy to be there with us. That is to say, there's been alot of feedback and it was all good. There's an expression that kids these days use: giving someone their flowers. Which is to say, making sure that someone deserving of praise and recognition is properly appreciated and acknowledged. What is your wedding guest capacity?

Our unique setting, a 44-acre private estate and exotic game ranch, brings the natural beauty of Texas to every guest. We offer eight exceptional banquet rooms to accommodate from 50 to 1,000 guests, a Wedding Chapel, and five outdoor gazebos. 

Tell us about your wedding packages.

For a buffet-style menu, we start at about $50.00 - $90.00 per person +18% service charge + 7.25% sales tax. This can flex upwards depending on your menu choices. This price includes the room rental already, all tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, flatware, waitstaff, food, non-alcoholic beverages, and a complimentary cake cutting.

Do you allow outside catering?

We do not allow outside catering, but we have an Indian catering partner. You can find the sample menu and alcohol packages here .

We start with a minimum package of $100,000 for 100 wedding guests with $22,000 for Food & Beverage minimum.

Katy and Chris’ stunning Safari Texas Ranch wedding.

After working with Katie and Chris on their engagement photos we were stoked for the wedding.  Katie is a GORGEOUS bride and Chris is a super guy. Coupled with the fact that we are good friends with the Katie’s parents and the day was set for an amazing wedding. Their day started out with the wedding at St Peters Methodist Church in Katy . After the wedding we headed for the reception at Safari Texas Ranch in the Safari Lodge . Chris and his gang from LSU really had the party rocking! We actually had a first at their wedding when a game of Beer Pong broke out on the deck. We had a blast working with Katie and Chris and wish them the very best!

Isanti wedding venue closes suddenly, leaving couples scrambling and out thousands of dollars

ISANTI, Minn. — Some soon-to-be-newlyweds are in shock and out of thousands of dollars after a wedding venue abruptly closed down.

They found out through an email but it did not mention refunds and said there was no one they could contact for help.

Katelyn Stalboerger's heartbreak has gone viral with over a million views on TikTok.

"We just got an email. They effectively, immediately closed the venue so we have nowhere to go and we're not getting our money back," she said in the video.

Stalboerger got an email from her wedding venue "Circle B" in Isanti saying, "It is no longer possible to maintain the business in the current economic environment... For many of you, this will been devastating for your plans, for that we are truly sorry. Nobody is available to take calls or emails." The email makes no mention of refunds.

Stalboerger's wedding with 300 guests is on May 4.

"I tried calling right away and it went straight to voicemail. Try looking on their website and that was gone, and try looking now on their social media and all their social media has been deleted as well," Stalboerger said.

Stalboerger is not alone. Bride-to-be Paytyn Steinhagen's wedding is in October. She got the same email.

"They cashed our check five days ago," she said. Steinhagen is out $7,000.

WCCO went up to Isanti to the sprawling venue and no one was there. 

Steinhagen says Wayne and Angi Butt presented themselves to her as the venue owners. The couple was featured less than a year ago in the local paper surrounded by Isanti City officials for their grand opening.

In 2020, WCCO interviewed Wayne Butt  in a story about another wedding venue — Furber Farms in Cottage Grove. That location is still open and taking reservations. A photograph on that website names Angi And Wayne Butt as the owners.

WCCO reached out by email and phone repeatedly and did not get an answer.

Meanwhile, Stalboerger is scrambling trying to find another wedding venue for her May 4 event and is out $10,000.

At least one other venue in the area said they would be willing to work with couples on short notice.
