Cruise Control Retrofitting (9N)

Requirements

Central electronics control module.

There are 3 Types of Central Electronic Control Modules (J519 / #09), only 2 of them support Cruise Control. The installed Type can easily be determined by the Control Module Part Number. Higher equipped Types always include the Options from the lower equipped ones.

• Supported Features : Cruise Control System (CCS), Heated Front Window
• Part Numbers : 6Q0-937-049-***
• Supported Features : Automatic Transmission (Shift Lock),

Engine Control Module

Some Engines were never available with Cruise Control from Factory but may still support the Configuration/Activation. The following List contains some of those Exceptions and if they support Cruise Control or not. Engines NOT listed here are assumed to support Cruise Control, exceptions may exist. ;-)

• Cruise Control NOT supported, this Function was never available from Factory!
• The Control Module MAY accept the Activation but will not Function!
• Cruise Control supported even though this Function was never available from Factory!

Installation & Wiring

Please refer to Repair Manuals, Wiring Diagram, Parts Catalog and/or the Instructions included in the Retrofitting Kit for Details.

Configuration

The following Activations are necessary to ensure that the newly fitted parts are properly recognized and are ready to use.

• Due to different Control Modules and Equipment in the Car the actual Login/Coding-2 Table is not shown here but will automatically be shown once you access the Function using VCDS.

• Before installation, check the part number of the tachometer control unit. Please consult an authorized dealer

• Beschrijving

In elke Polo 6R (2009-2014) kan cruisecontrol worden ingebouwd. Wij kunnen soms aan de hand van uw kenteken of chassisnummer nakijken wat er benodigd is om cruisecontrol te realiseren in uw Volkswagen Polo.

Met de originele cruise control kunt u besparen op brandstofkosten en eventuele boetes voorkomen, omdat de cruisecontrol een constante snelheid handhaaft. Deze zal versnellen (gasgeven) als u een bijvoorbeeld een viaduct op rijdt en vertragen (gas los) als u hier af rijdt. Tevens zit er een geheugenknop op, dit is de RES knop. Dit staat voor RESUME. Dan versnelt de auto naar de laatst ingestelde snelheid. Wanneer u remt of de koppeling in trapt zal automatisch de cruise control afslaan. Tevens kunt u natuurlijk ook handmatig de cruise control uitzetten wanneer u deze niet wenst te gebruiken. Als de cruisecontrol in gebruikt is dan zal er een groen lampje in uw instrumentenpaneel oplichten. Enorm veel rijgemak voor een kleine prijs!

Het is van belang dat de BCM (boordnetmodule) van uw Polo toereikend is voor inbouw van een cruisecontrol in de Polo. Mocht deze niet toereikend zijn, dan kunnen wij ook de BCM vervangen. Mocht uw auto voorzien zijn van een start/stop systeem (meestal uitvoering BlueMotion) dan is de BCM sowieso geschikt.

Hoihoi, Ik heb al meerdere berichten gelezen, maar ik stel de vraag toch even opnieuw. Ik zou graag cruise control in willen (laten bouwen). Ik heb een 9N3 uit 2007, met een 1.4 16v BUD (59kW) motor. De BCM begint met 6Q1 (6Q1 937 049 F) en er zit een poort in XS3 die nog vrij is. Heeft iemand een goed idee? origineel of toch aftermarket? Of heeft iemand een goed adres waar dit ingebouwd kan worden? Mvg Ruud  

altijd origineel doen met cruise control. anders zit je vast aan john gold oid. dat is niet zo handig.  

Bedankt voor de tip! Maar hoe kan ik dit het beste aanpakken?

Leuk, ga ik ook doen in de 2006 Cross Polo 9N3 regio Drechtsteden. Een tijdje geleden heb ik een en ander uitgezocht en heb ik de Valeo hendels en bedradingskit gekocht. Het is er nog niet van gekomen maar deze zomer moet ie er toch eigenlijk echt wel een keer in. Als je nog niet geholpen bent, zal ik de bestelnummers wel posten. Misschien leuk om de cc-inbouw samen op te pakken (virtueel of irl, afhankelijk van jouw locatie)?  

Leuk om meteen een soort how-to van te maken voor op het forum. Ik meen dat het vrij simpel was; - schakelaar monteren - bedrading trekken van stuurkolom naar bcm - aanmelden cruisecontrol in bcm met bijvoorbeeld VCDS  

er moet ook een kabel bij komen naar het motorregelapparaat

Ik heb bij KUFATEC zojuist de versie zonder MFA besteld, het verschil met MFA is dat de stekker 8 ipv 6 pinnetjes heeft, dus dat zou niet passen. Nu hopen dat het snel komt en dat het werkt

Polo 9n / 9n3 Cruise Control Kit

For sale a Cruise control kit for the 9n / 9n3 Polo 's

I had the kit to fit in my Polo GTI, but as i am selling the car i wont be fitting it.

The kit is a brand new genuine VW Stalk unit, and wiring loom to hook it up.

Installation requires a few pins to be pushed into the stalk connector on the car, plug the loom into the control module, hook it up to the brake pedal switch and to the ECU bulkhead connector, comes with all required parts and connectors.

I can provide a full set of instructions. Will need activating with VAG-COM

I never got round to fitting it, Just looking for the £100 it cost me plus £5 postage

I believe the unit will work with all 9n Polo's.

You cannot buy this kit from VW like you can for the Golf etc.
