SZA Announces 2023 “The SOS North American Tour”

SZA has unveiled her first arena tour, the 2023 “The SOS North American Tour,” with Omar Apollo opening. Get tickets here .

Coming in support of her excellent new album  SOS ,  SZA will hit the road February 21st in Columbus, Ohio, zig-zagging through the midwest and up into Canada. In March she’ll head down the east coast and hook through the south, jumping up to the pacific northwest and wrapping March 22nd in Los Angeles, California.

Update – April 11th: SZA has announced a second leg of tour dates , including shows in Europe and North America.

“I love touring,” SZA said in our recent Consequence  cover story . “Touring is healing. That’s it. It definitely reminds you that people love you and not everybody is a reflection of the Internet that’s just trying to troll you. Like even if some of those people are people who troll you, they are fans. No one ever pays for a ticket to treat me like shit. So that’s a blessing.”

General on-sale begins Friday, December 16th at 12:00 p.m. local time, and Ticketmaster will host a pre-sale beginning Thursday, December 15th (use code  CHEER ). Check out the full dates below and book your seat here .

Consequence  named  SOS  one of the top 50 albums of 2022 . The album artwork was inspired by Princess Diana, and SZA told us that working with Phoebe Bridgers was “cool as fuck,” and she also revealed the “crazy” story of how she landed an unreleased posthumous Ol’ Dirty Bastard verse.

SZA

The 2023 tour follows SZA’s hugely successful sophomore album, SOS, which was released in December and earned the superstar the record for the largest streaming week for an R&B album in the United States. The album also claimed 10 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, the most among albums by women in seven years.

During the first run of The S.O.S. Tour earlier this year, SZA gave unforgettable performances night after night. The platinum recording artist performed classics like “Love Galore” and “The Weekend” in addition to newer mega-hits such as “Kill Bill” and “Shirt.” Fans also got to experience special performances from several surprise guests including Phoebe Bridgers, Cardi B, Summer Walker, Lizzo and more.

The S.O.S. Tour marked SZA’s first-ever arena tour and earned the superstar endless praise, with Rolling Stone noting that “SZA lives up to all the anticipation” on opening night. The New York Times called her Madison Square Garden headlining debut “vigorous, confident, theatrical and intimate — the sort of show that manages the rare trick of feeling both vibrantly communicative and also protectively insular,” while Billboard proclaimed that the performance “delivered a message that she’s truly made a next-level step in her career.”

Born in St. Louis and raised in Maplewood, New Jersey, genre-defying, and Grammy award-winning recording artist SZA released her major label debut album Ctrl (TDE/RCA) in 2017. Revered for its raw and honest lyrics, it landed at No. 1 on Billboard ’s R&B Albums chart, No. 2 on the R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart and No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart, according to Nielsen Music. The now RIAA-certified 3x Platinum album received five Grammy nominations in 2018 and more than half the songs on Ctrl are currently certified multi-Platinum and Gold. Ctrl remains on the Billboard 200 chart since its release in 2017 and holds the record for the longest run for any Black female artist’s debut album. In 2022 alone it sold over 600,000 units and is the 10th best-selling female album this year in the country and 50th best-selling album in 2022 overall.

To close out the trying year of 2020, SZA gifted fans on Christmas Day with the hopeful track “Good Days.” Grammy nominated for Best R&B Song, the single quickly became SZA’s greatest gaining solo single release, peaking at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and marking her first time in the chart’s top 10 as the main artist. December 2021, SZA scored her second lead artist top 10 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart with the official release of “I Hate U,” which debuted at No. 7. The song also entered at No. 1 on both Spotify and Apple Music U.S. charts and broke the record for the most streamed R&B song by a female artist on Apple Music in its first week. Fan favorite “Shirt” has garnered over 60 million streams globally since its release in October.

On Dec. 9, 2022, SZA released her long-awaited sophomore album SOS. Instantly and universally met with acclaim , SOS debuted and claimed 10 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the longest run for an album by a woman in seven years. Standout track “Kill Bill” is RIAA-certified 3x Platinum and earned the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Global 200 chart and several Apple Music and Spotify charts globally.

Currently RIAA-certified 2x Platinum, SOS includes features by Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Phoebe Bridgers and Ol’ Dirty Bastard; with production by Ctrl hitmaking collaborators ThankGod4Cody and Carter Lang, alongside Jeff Bhasker, Rob Bisel, Benny Blanco, Kenny “Babyface'' Edmonds, Emile Haynie, Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Jay Versace and more.

To this day, SZA continues to set the standard on creativity and songwriting, while shattering records with over 10 billion streams worldwide across all platforms. SZA has won various awards since the release of Ctrl including a 2022 Grammy award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Kiss Me More” with Doja Cat, Billboard Music Awards’ Top R&B Female Artist, BET Awards’ Best New Artist, BET Soul Train Awards’ Best R&B/Soul Female Artist and Best New Artist, MTV Video Music Awards’ Best Visual Effects for “All The Stars'' with Kendrick Lamar, and NAACP Image Awards’ Outstanding New Artist. In 2019, she won NAACP Image Awards’ Outstanding Duo or Group for “All The Stars” with Kendrick Lamar and Outstanding Soundtrack/Compilation for the Black Panther Soundtrack . SZA also received Billboard’s 2019 Women in Music Rule Breaker award. More recently, SZA was crowned the 2023 Woman of the Year at the Billboard’s Women in Music Awards and won iHeart Radio Music Awards for R&B Artist of the Year and R&B Song of the Year for “I Hate U.”

Born in St. Louis and raised in Maplewood, NJ, genre-defying, and GRAMMY Award winning recording artist SZA released her major label debut album Ctrl (TDE/RCA) in 2017. Revered for its raw and honest lyrics, it landed at No. 1 on Billboard ’s R&B Albums chart, No. 2 on the R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart and No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart, according to Nielsen Music. The now RIAA-certified 3xPlatinum album received five Grammy nominations in 2018 and more than half the songs on Ctrl are currently certified multi-Platinum and Gold.

To close out the trying year of 2020, SZA gifted fans on Christmas Day with the hopeful track “Good Days.” Grammy-nominated for Best R&B Song, the single quickly became SZA’s greatest gaining solo single release, peaking at #9 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and marking her first time in the chart’s top ten as the main artist. December 2021, SZA scored her second lead artist top 10 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart with the official release of “I Hate U,” which debuted at #7. The song also entered at #1 on both Spotify and Apple Music US charts and broke the record for the most streamed R&B song by a female artist on Apple Music in its first week.  Fan favorite “Shirt” has garnered over 60 million streams globally since its release in October.

On December 9, 2022, SZA released her long-awaited sophomore album SOS.   Instantly and universally met with acclaim , SOS debuted and claimed ten non-consecutive weeks at #1 on the Billboard 200, the longest run for an album by a woman in seven years. Standout track “Kill Bill” is RIAA-certified 3x Platinum and earned the #1 spot on the Billboard Global 200 chart and several Apple Music and Spotify charts globally. Currently RIAA-certified 2x Platinum, SOS includes features by Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Phoebe Bridgers and Ol’ Dirty Bastard; with production by Ctrl hitmaking collaborators ThankGod4Cody and Carter Lang, alongside Jeff Bhasker, Rob Bisel, Benny Blanco, Kenny “Babyface'' Edmonds, Emile Haynie, Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Jay Versace, and more.

To this day, SZA continues to set the standard on creativity and songwriting, while shattering records with over 10 billion streams worldwide across all platforms. SZA has won various awards since the release of Ctrl including a 2022 GRAMMY Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Kiss Me More” with Doja Cat, Billboard Music Awards’ Top R&B Female Artist, BET Awards’ Best New Artist, BET Soul Train Awards’ Best R&B/Soul Female Artist and Best New Artist, MTV Video Music Awards’ Best Visual Effects for the “All The Stars'' with Kendrick Lamar, and NAACP Image Awards’ Outstanding New Artist.

SZA Concert Tickets

Get ready to groove with your SZA tickets from TicketSmarter. Nominations for an exceptional five awards at the 2018 Grammy Awards (Best New Artist, Best Urban Contemporary Artist, Best R&B Song, Best R&B Performance and Best Rap Performance) confirmed the arrival of SZA as a new major act establishing an instantly identifiable style of strong vocals, dance melodies and dreamy R&B beats. Her sultry songs combined with exotic looks and daring costumes brought SZA instant attention with the hit "Love Galore" promoted by a video featuring Travis Scott.

She went on to study liberal arts but dropped out of college to concentrate on her music, adopting the name SZA, partly in reference to one of her favorite rappers, RZA (she says the SZA letters represent the words Saviour or Sovereign, Zig-Zag and Allah). With homemade early recordings, SZA self-released her debut EP and was subsequently signed to the hip-hop label Top Dawg.

Her major-league breakthrough soon followed as she worked on her debut studio album Ctrl . She has resisted attempts to define her music, which has been tagged as neo-soul, minimalist R&B, chillwave, alternative R&B and witch house. SZA names Ella Fitzgerald and Bjork among her primary influences while writing songs that touch many aspects of society including sexuality, racism, abandonment and dysfunction. She also teamed up with labelmate Kendrick Lamar for the song "All the Stars" for the Black Panther  movie soundtrack in 2018. A collaboration with Doja Cat on the hit single "Kiss Me More" earned the duo a Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance in 2022. In early December of that same year, SZA dropped news of her latest album,  S.O.S. , and her first arena tour, the 2023 S.O.S. tour to the excitement of her fans.  You’re bound to hear a mix of R&B and soul tracks with your SZA tickets.

SZA concert tickets have been known to cost around $80 on average. Cheaper concert tickets can be found on the upper levels of the arena. Seats in the upper levels can start around $34. Lower seating and floor seats will bring fans as close to the stage as possible. These premium SZA concert tour tickets can begin at around $139.

On average, you can expect to pay $1306.60 to see SZA perform live in concert. R&B fans can find cheap SZA tickets for $90.63 per ticket, while the most expansive SZA tickets cost $28512.00. Tickets to see SZA live in Queens, NY, range from $351.00 to $1944.00.

SZA Tour Dates & Concert Schedule

SZA 2024 tour schedule is packed with exciting performances around the country. SZA has 5 upcoming concerts planned for this year. SZA next concert will hit the stage at Queens's Corona Park on June 7th, 2024 at 11:59am. There are only 48 tickets still available , so order now to secure your spot at the show.

Many SZA tour dates will be announced around four to six months before the tour begins. Tickets go on sale almost immediately following these announcements. TicketSmarter’s SZA concert schedule is updated in real time. When new shows get added, all available seats will also be updated in the above schedule. New TICKET Act Passed by House Aims to End Hidden Fees

Prohibiting speculative ticketing, deceptive websites and ensuring refunds for canceled events..

House of Representatives Passed TICKET Key Events Ticketing Pricing Transparency Info

The U.S. House of Representatives has passed the Transparency in Charges for Key Events Ticketing (TICKET) Act, a bipartisan bill aimed at enhancing transparency in ticket pricing for concerts, sporting events and other live performances. Introduced by Representatives Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) and Gus Bilirakis (R-FL), the legislation mandates that ticket sellers disclose the full ticket price, including all fees, at the beginning of the transaction. This aims to eliminate hidden fees revealed only at checkout, ensuring consumers know the total cost upfront.

The TICKET Act also addresses speculative ticket sales, requiring sellers to clearly indicate if they do not have the ticket in their possession before the sale. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) will enforce these new regulations. The bill has received widespread support from advocacy groups, including the Fix the Tix Coalition and the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA). Stephen Parker, NIVA’s executive director, stated, “This bill will help to improve the ticket-buying experience for fans, protect artists’ livelihoods and preserve independent venues across the nation.”

Thanks for contacting us. We've received your submission.

Melanie Martinez sings in concert at Lollapalooza Brazil 2017.

Wipe those tears away, Cry Babies.

Starting May 10, artsy, high-concept pop star Melanie Martinez — who performs as her alter ego Cry Baby onstage — is kicking off her ‘Trilogy Tour’ at Seattle, WA’s Climate Pledge Arena.

Midway through the 35-concert nationwide tour, the 29-year-old “Play Date” singer and Queens native will drop into NYC’s Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, June 5 and Thursday, June 6 .

At all shows, fans will likely be treated to tracks from Martinez’s three albums — 2015’s “Cry Baby,” 2019’s “K-12” and 2023’s “Portals” — hence, ‘The Trilogy Tour.’

And if you want to see her ambitious stage show live, last-minute tickets are available for all upcoming shows.

Some are shockingly cheap, too.

At the time of publication, our team found tickets going for as low as $26 before fees on Vivid Seats.

When you factor in that she’ll be joined by high-profile special guests Men I Trust , Beach Bunny , and Sofia Isella on select dates, it’s easy to see how much of a steal catching the ‘Trilogy Tour’ live would be for any Cry Baby.

Curious how much tickets will cost at the concert closest to you?

We’ve got everything you need to know and more about Melanie Martinez’s 2024 ‘Trilogy Tour’ below.

All prices listed above are subject to fluctuation.

Melanie Martinez 2024 tour schedule

A complete calendar including all tour dates, venues and links to buy tickets can be found here:

(Note: The New York Post confirmed all above prices at the publication time. All prices are in US dollars, subject to fluctuation and include additional fees at checkout .)

Vivid Seats is a verified secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They offer a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and your tickets will be delivered prior to the event.

Melanie Martinez 2024 festival appearances

In addition to headlining at shows all over the U.S., Canada, and Europe, Martinez will also lend her talents to a trio of festivals this summer.

For a closer look, you can find all the information you need — who she’ll be performing with and where — below.

Melanie Martinez set list

In summer 2023, Martinez toured her latest album “Portals” all over the world.

If you didn’t make it out to see her live, this is what she performed at Radio City Music Hall last June, courtesy of  Set List FM :

01.) “DEATH” 02.) “VOID” 03.) “TUNNEL VISION” 04.) “FAERIE SOIRÉE” 05.) “LIGHT SHOWER” 06.) “SPIDER WEB” 07.) “LEECHES” 08.) “BATTLE OF THE LARYNX” 09.) “THE CONTORTIONIST” 10.) “MOON CYCLE” 11.) “NYMPHOLOGY” 12.) “EVIL” 13.) “WOMB” Encore:

14.) “POWDER” 15.) “PLUTO” 16.) “MILK OF THE SIREN”

Melanie Martinez new music

“Portals,”  Martinez’s third studio album, hit shelves on March 31, 2023.

Made up of 13 tracks, the record features Cry Baby’s — who’s reborn as a “pink-skinned, four-eyed fairy creature that’s stuck between Earth and the afterlife” according to  Rolling Stone  — signature breathy voice against trippy soundscapes.

Think Lana Del Rey meets creepy “Alice In Wonderland.”

After a few listens, our staff fell in love with the lush “VOID,” the pitter-patter of “FAERIE SOIRÉE” and the bounce of the xylophone heavy “SPIDER WEB.”

Mostly though, we’re bumping the album’s final song, the ultra-catchy “WOMB” on repeat.

In the event you haven’t listened yet, you can check out “Portals”  here .

Melanie Martinez special guests

At all shows, Martinez is bringing some high-profile opening acts to kickstart the festivities.

To make sure you’re familiar with their work, we’ve listed each artist’s most streamed song on Spotify below.

Men I Trust:   “Show Me How”

Beach Bunny:   “Prom Queen”

Sofia Isella:   “Hot Gum”

Melanie Martinez controversy

In 2017, the alt-pop star was accused of sexual assault and rape by her friend Timothy Heller over Twitter.

The following day, Martinez responded to the allegations saying they “horrified and saddened” her, and that Heller “never said no to what [they] chose to do together.”

“I know now that assault happens this way all the time,” Heller told  Newsweek . “I loved her even after it happened, and I had this sick need to protect her, which I’ve learned is very common for victims of assault, especially those hurt by their family or friends.”

A month after, Martinez dropped “Piggyback” on Soundcloud to respond to Heller’s claims. This year, Martinez’s feisty, sharp “BATTLE OF THE LARYNX,” on “Portals” addresses the allegations once again.

Chelsea freeze season ticket prices for 2023-24

LONDON, ENGLAND - MAY 22: A general view inside the stadium prior to the Premier League match between Chelsea and Watford at Stamford Bridge on May 22, 2022 in London, England. (Photo by Clive Rose/Getty Images)

Chelsea have frozen season ticket prices for the 2023-24 season as co-owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali attempt to appease supporters following a hugely disappointing first season with the club.

Chelsea are 11th in the Premier League table with four games of the season remaining with both performances and results for much of the campaign leaving much to be desired.

Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter have both paid the price with their jobs with former player and manager Frank Lampard put in temporary charge until the end of the season.

Despite operating costs rising the club have opted to keep season ticket prices at the same level for the 12th successive year.

A club statement read: “This season has not produced the results that any of us want. We know what we are working towards, but equally we know that will require hard work, determination and commitment. We all want to see Chelsea back where we belong and to share many more winning moments together at Stamford Bridge.

“Adult general admission (GA) season tickets have been frozen since 2011/12, meaning since 2005, season ticket prices have fallen in real terms by 32%.

“Like many industries, our costs have also risen significantly. Operating Stamford Bridge and delivering matchdays have been particularly subjected to inflationary pressures – up 31% since 2018.

“Equally, we are acutely aware of the rise in cost of living and the impact that has on our supporters. Looking at all of these factors, the board has decided to freeze GA season tickets for the 2023/24 season.”

sza tour ticket prices 2023

The Chelsea Supporters’ Trust has welcomed the move.

“The Chelsea Supporters’ Trust would like to place on record its thanks to Mr Boehly and his board for putting supporters first,” they said in a statement.

“It is vital that there is a connection between the club, its players and our supporters. The decision to freeze GA tickets is a step in the right direction and reflects Chelsea’s commitment to “make the fans proud.”

“The CST is delighted that the club has responded positively to our representations over the past few months regarding season ticket prices.”

The price of general admission tickets is yet to be decided with a number of factors set to go into that decision when it comes.

“The club needs to grow all our revenue streams – including matchday – to ensure we operate on a sustainable basis,” the club statement added.

“We will take some time next season to review our overall ticketing strategy and approach, consulting with our fan advisory board and other key stakeholders to ensure supporters’ voices are heard as we look to the future.

“This will include looking at the number of different price points across the stadium to ensure all our seats reflect their value and demand, alongside a review of the current approach to concessions.

“The club will continue to offer payment plans to spread the cost of season tickets across the season, and the ticket exchange will be available for season ticket holders to offer their unused seats to season ticket holders and members.

“The deadline to renew for existing season ticket holders is 2 June 2023. If you are paying by payment plan finance the deadline is Thursday 25 May 2023

“We recognise and greatly appreciate the ongoing commitment our fans continue to make in showing their support for the team.”

Chelsea return to action against Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
