The hotels are generally in good condition however some rooms are better than other. Internet availability varies. While it did feel rushed at times, having our guide Vik around made the often hectic situations feel manageable. With his help we were able to see an incredible amount of India given our short stay! Vik worked really hard to bond our group together and I left with 9 new friends. My one complaint was the pricing— while it’s fine to pay for my own meals, I felt that transportation and restaurant choices were needlessly expensive, not reflecting the “shoestring budget” I had wanted.

This was a really great experience. Our driver Praveen was superb and did everything he could to make our tour enjoyable. The hotels we stayed at were very good and especially Lal Garh in Jaselmere which was superb. The guides provided were informative and helpful and the Forts, Palaces and Temples were out of this world. In terms of value for money the tour was excellent. My highlights were Taj Mahal, Amber fort, Jaselmere and Udaipur, although there were so many others. My only dislike was the desert camp. It was windy, dusty and a lot of trash blowing around. However, if you like camels and desert then you will enjoy.

North India Revealed, was an amazing tour. Our guide Sanjeev was really good. Free time is a bonus and though sometimes felt obligated to do what the rest of the group is doing, you can still go off and explore on your own. Watch out for beggars, of all ages including children. They don't take no for an answer. In India they expect tips, I wasn't aware of this but its on 10 Rupiahs which equates to about 2c Australian. Overall a really good trip.

The tour was truly amazing! I loved every minute of it.

Meal : Breakfast , Lunch & Dinner at Jaisalmer. On arrival at Jaisalmer, we head towards Sam Sand Dunes Camp-site. We check-in at the property and relax, have breakfast, and enjoy Swimming Pool (if available) in the middle of the desert during day time. Post lunch, we relax at the camp. Later in eveing, we go for the most exciting Jeep Safari & Camel Safari ride and witness the beautiful Desert sunset. During dawn time, we return to property & welcome by garland, folk performance along with tea/coffee & evening snack, followed by Dinner. Overnight stay at Camp.

Sam Sand Dunes > Jaisalmer Sightseeing > Udaipur

Meal : Breakfast & Lunch at jaisalmer. Today, post breakfast, we check-out from from the camp and head We arriving at Parakiting site (at your own) enjoy the adventure sport (additional charges) and see the bird's view of Jaisalmer.Later, we head towards Jaisalmer city for lunch. Post Lunch, we head towards the famous Jaisalmer Fort & later market for shopping. In evening, we visit BSF camp (If we have enough time we will visit BSF Camp). Depart in evening for Udaipur. Pokhran is a village located in the desert region that served as a test site for India’s first nuclear missile testing in the royal state. After visiting the test site you can take a visit to Pokhran Fort and the Pokhran Museum. After the sightseeing tour, return to the hotel and stay there overnight.

Day 4: Kuldhara village, Khuri, Tanot Mata Tour

On the fourth day of this tour, you will visit the Kuldhara, a desert village near the golden city. The village is abandoned by its residents. It was established in the 13th century and has a story that the village was left by the people around 300 years ago. The village has only ruins so you can take a village tour with your friends and family. Kuldhara Village is considered a famous haunted place in India, where many paranormal activities take place. Entry to this place is not permissible after sunset or before sunrise.

Thereafter, you can visit the most popular Tanot Mata temple, it is a miraculous and religious shrine. You can seek the blessings of the goddess. The temple is located at the India and Pakistan border. Later, in the evening, you can visit Khuri Sand dunes and can enjoy the Desert safari and other activities there. Day 5: Departure
