The official Harley-Davidson Experience Tour is coming to a dealership near you! The Tour will give you the opportunity to test ride the latest 2024 models. 

The line-up includes eight different models, from cruiser to touring models and of course our Adventure Touring model is present.

The Tour will be at the dealership for 2 – 3 days but there’s only a limited number of slots available per event.

Harley-Davidson UK Experience Tour announced for summer 2023

A new 2023 Harley-Davidson Experience Tour has been announced for this summer in the UK, in celebration of its 120th anniversary.

The 2023 Harley-Davidson UK Experience Tour has been announced, and will begin at the end of May. 

The Tour offers Harley-Davidson fans the chance to try out new motorcycles from the Milwaukee manufacturer’s roster, and is billed as part of the celebrations of Harley-Davidson’s 120th anniversary, which has also seen a series of special edition motorcycles launch for 2023, as well as the announcement of the upcoming party that will feature Foo Fighters and Green Day as headliners .

The tour will visit St. Austen, Essex, Grimsby, Pickering, Lancaster, Pontypool, Poole, Crianlarich, and Dorking between 27 May and 23 September.

Places on the 2023 Harley-Davidson UK Experience Tour are limited, so those wishing to book their place should do so as soon as possible.

Feel the rumble of a genuine Harley Davidson beneath your pillion seat, and head out on a countryside adventure in Hampshire with this Harley Davidson Tour.

There’s no need for a CBT or driving licence here, as you’ll be able to take in every moment of the view and ride while a ROSPA Advanced qualified rider takes care of all the driving. Your vehicle will be an all-American classic, a Harley Davidson Fat Boy, and you’ll feel the wind on your face as you listen to the unmistakeable sound of the V-twin bike beneath you. Head out on the best roads that Hampshire has to offer and let your rider take you on an exhilarating tour of the best riding roads the area has to offer – the choice is up to you.

On the way, you’ll stop for a photo opportunity from an amazing vantage point on the South Downs.  With around 30 round-trip miles to cover, there’ll be plenty to see and experience on this one-hour Harley Davidson trip.

• 40 minutes riding and 20 minutes photo/leg-stretch stop

What happens on the day?

You will start your Harley tour from our base near Alton in Hampshire.  Once you’re comfortably sat on the pillion seat, you’re off for just under an hour’s exhilarating riding with a 20 minute stop for a leg-stretch/photo opportunity part way through.

Gloves, a helmet, leathers will be supplied on the day, so all you need to think about is taking in all of the sights, sounds and smells of your amazing 30 mile round trip.

• Minimum age: 18
• Maximum weight: 16 stone 7lbs
• Minimum height: 4ft 11in
• Maximum height: 6ft 6in
• The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary

Availability

Available on weekdays, with occasional Saturdays and some Bank Holidays from March to November. Date restrictions may apply.

We recommend you book at least six weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

You should allow approximately 1 hour 30 minutes for the whole experience.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

How it works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.

Covered alot of ground and very busy of course with never enough time, but that was expected. Great driver, found tour director somewhat unenthusiastic - would have liked more concise info on how each day was going to progress and a little more interaction with the group. Hotel Metropole was so hot and too noisy to have window open - most of the hotel rooms were so hot all night. Holiday Inn York room was rather well tread and dirty. Other than that a great trip with excellent meals except the dinner at Holiday Inn York.

We had a great holiday and highly recommend insight tours . We had lovely hotels and a fantastic tour guide who was very knowledgeable with places and the history.

Grand Tour of Britain & Ireland

We felt there was too many places and not enough time Plymouth was a waste of time and Cardiff.we didnt see any thing of Fort William or Inverness and as for Hadrians wall what a joke !! Group photos at Anne Hathaway cottage but no time to see cottage or gardens .then dropped off at shakespeares birthplace for shops !! Long way to Culloden not to have time to go into the museum. Too many hours at Blarney on a wet day in the woolen mill. But apart from that Rosemary was fantastic Julian great driver took a while to warm... enjoyed our holiday but not one of our better cosmos experiences.

Best of Britain (11 Days)

This was our first trip to the UK. The tour covered all we wanted to see. The coach was comfortable and the drivers very friendly. Patricia was an excellent guide very caring and knowledgeable about the history of the UK. The Isle of Skye section needs to be rethought - a long day with not a lot of the Isle covered. The local guide at Liverpool could not be heard on the walking tour. Very satisfied with the 11 day tour and would recommend it to travelers looking to see a large area of the UK.

The Best of Britain & Ireland

Met some lovely people and saw some amazing sights. Tour guide "Tom" was informative and coach driver "Clive" was great to all. Highly recommend going on this tour.

Highland Fling

Had an amazing week doing the Highland Fling tour with Haggis Adventures/Highland Explorers. Our driver and guide Tom was fantastic navigating us safely around the country. We also had the pleasure of new guides Sophie and Cliff. All 3 guides were extremely knowledgeable, funny, great story tellers and very helpful with all questions, local advice and insights. We really enjoyed seeing and hearing the folklore about the beautiful landscapes of Scotland and being immersed in the culture on this intimate tour. Highly recommend. Thanks for a great tour!

Britain & Ireland Discovery (Classic, 22 Days)

Excellent tour. Covered everything we wanted to see. Greg was excellent with his commentary, knowledge of the area, history and advice on things to do in our spare time. He made the trip more enjoyable and had a great sense of humour.

Great Britain

Peter and Minty were wonderful. The tour group got to see and visit many sites and share some excellent experiences. Hotels were clean and well located, but not always accessible. Tour group was large, but Peter managed it nicely. Overall, I was pleased with the tour.

5 Day Skye & Highland Fling

I wanted to explore the Scottish highlands but was a bit worried about public transport timing and accessibility so I decided to book a tour instead. And I was glad that I did! The fact that Branka was there to guide the group, telling us the folklore and history of the sights we were seeing just enriched the whole experience. We were blessed with great weather (your mileage may vary about this but someone in our tour must have a guardian angel looking out for them weather-wise) the majority of our trip and although I am not as fit as most people in the group I still had a lot of fun exploring the places we visited.

What people love about UK And Great Britain Tours

Very nice itinerary ... jam packed days and evenings. I chose not to do any of the extra evening excursions that were offered so I was able to use the time to explore every overnight stop on my own. The tour guide was amazing... so full of knowledge about all the countries/areas we visited.

This Digital Writer was lucky enough to see Billie Eilish close Reading Festival last summer and, what a performance it was!

It's easy to forget that the seven-time Grammy award winning artist is 22-years-old with the string of hits to her name, such as Bad Guy and What Was I Made For, and the captivating stage presence she has. If you're yet to see Eilish live in the UK, the Los Angeles born singer has a surprise for you: she's bringing her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour to British and Irish cities next summer.

Eilish was just 15 years old when she had her breakthrough, with the hit song Ocean Eyes. Riding the wave of the 2016 single, Eilish released her 2019 debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, which features the smash singles You Should See Me In a Crown, Bury a Friend, and When the Party's Over. The success of this debut album meant Eilish (rightfully so) swept up at the Grammys, winning awards for Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Best New Artist.

The American singer songwriter's sophomore album, Happier Than Ever, became Eilish's second consecutive album to enter at number one on the Billboard 200. To add to her growing list of accolades, Eilish won her first Academy Award in 2022 for the James Bond theme song, No Time to Die.

The Hit Me Hard and Soft tour, which will visit America, Australia and Europe, is in support of her third studio album of the same name. The album is scheduled for release on 17th May this year, and the RadioTimes.com Going Out team can barely wait!

How to get Billie Eilish pre-sale tickets

There was an American Express pre-sale for Eilish's UK and Ireland tour, which went live on Tuesday 30th April at 12pm and ended 11am on Friday 3rd May.

The American Express pre-sale lets cardholders buy tickets for events before they're released to the general public, and you can access these tickets on the Ticketmaster site just like you would buy tickets usually.

O2 Priority and album pre-sales kicked off at 12pm on Tuesday 30th May .

At 12pm on Wednesday 1st May , Three+ members were able to access the Three pre-sale for the Dublin shows.

Live Nation and venue pre-sales for the Glasgow and Manchester shows kicked off at 12pm yesterday ( Thursday 2nd May ).

All of these pre-sales ended at 11am today ( Friday 3rd May ), for the main event...

Today, we’re unveiling the first 11 Icons on Airbnb, with new experiences dropping around the world throughout the year.

Icons are featured in their own category right on the homepage. Most Icons are free, and all are priced under $100 USD per guest. A countdown displays the time until each Icon goes live, and guests can request to book through the app. The lucky guests who are selected will receive a digital golden ticket, and more than 4,000 tickets will be available in 2024 1 . 

New features for group trips

More than 80% of bookings on Airbnb are group trips, but the app wasn’t designed for groups. That’s why we’re introducing new features that make planning group trips easier than ever:

Shared wishlists

You can now easily share your wishlists with others on your trip, inviting them to add homes, write notes and vote on listings. When you share listings with others, the app creates a wishlist with these homes.

New Messages tab

A redesigned Messages tab now allows everyone on a trip to message with the host in a group thread. The simplified design consolidates all guest, host, and customer support messages in one place, making it easy to search across messages. Reactions allow guests and hosts to respond with emojis, and AI-suggested quick replies help hosts instantly answer common questions.

Trip invitations

Once you book a trip, you can invite others to join you with digital postcards of your destination, illustrated by artists from around the world. Everyone joining the trip will get all reservation details including the full address, Wi-Fi password, and check-in instructions.

Upgrades for Hosts

The 2024 Summer Release also includes upgrades for hosts based on their feedback. We’ve expanded the earnings dashboard with interactive performance charts and automated earnings reports. Our updated Listings tab gives hosts more control when creating and editing a photo tour to showcase their space. We’ve also added a simple way to quickly switch between the guest and host sides of the app.

Worldwide rollout starting today

Icons and new features for group trips are available starting today. Upgrades for hosts are available today by enrolling in Airbnb Early Access in the app.
