• If you are booking for a single day and your reservation is confirmed more than 7 days in advance, a deposit of either $1,000 USD or 50% of the total cost of the reservation (whichever is greater) is processed immediately in order to hold the yacht. Once your embarkation date is 7 days away, the remainder of the amount due is processed.
• If you are booking for a single day and your reservation is made 7 days or less in advance, the total price of your reservation is processed immediately.
• If you are booking for a multi-day charter and your reservation is confirmed more than 30 days in advance, a deposit of 50% of the cost of the yacht is processed immediately in order to hold the yacht. Once your embarkation date is 30 days away, the other 50% is collected for the price of the yacht, plus the APA, plus the taxes due.

Terms of refunds are dictated by the Charter Agreement. Generally, once a payment is collected, it is non-refundable. In certain circumstances, as dictated by the Charter Agreement, credits can be provided so you will be able to enjoy your yacht charter at a future date that is convenient for you.

PRACTICALITIES

Please review this section carefully before your charter. .

• Safety First Every passenger who comes aboard is expected to follow all safety guidelines and instructions presented during the orientation to Carpe Vita, and also to listen to the captain's orders on all matters of personal safety. All passengers are required to sign a liability waiver, which includes agreeing to adhere to safe codes of conduct while cruising. For our and your protection, we have a zero tolerance policy regarding all illegal substances and firearms.
• Food & Drink All cruises include water, ice and snacks (with the exception of the cooking-class cruise). Beyond this - we encourage all passengers to bring their own food and drink with them. We are happy to provide suggestions of our favorite local restaurants. We also supply dishes, glasses, flatware, stemware, corkscrews, bottle-openers, etc. If you wish to have your cruise catered, we are happy to put you in contact with some very talented local chefs.
• Pick-up & Drop-off We offer pick-up and drop-off at the Sailfish Marina or at the West Palm Beach City Docks. Earliest possible pick-up: 7am; Latest possible drop-off: sunset.
• Weather Here in sunny Florida, the weather is generally on our side - however, good sailing conditions are subject to climate fluctuations, and the weathermen (believe it or not) are not always right. If, on the day of the charter, the captain decides that the weather creates unsafe conditions for cruising, we will notify you two hours in advance of departure. In the case of inclement weather, we are happy to work with you to reschedule.
• Payments A credit card is required to hold the reservation. Payment is collected following the completion of your cruise. Cash payment is preferred. We also accept major credit cards. Gratuities are greatly appreciated.
• Punctuality Passengers must arrive 10 minutes in advance of their scheduled departure time. Lateness beyond 15 minutes after the scheduled departure time will be treated as a no-show. No-shows will be charged 50% of the charter fee. If you encounter unforeseen circumstances that make it impossible to arrive on time, we need you to contact us as early as possible to modify pick-up plans.
• Bathroom Facilities Onboard Below deck, we have an electrical flushing toilet for guests in ‘the head’ (sailor-speak for bathroom). It is imperative that you follow all instructions for proper use.
• Cancellation Cancellation Policy: Cancellation within 24-hours of reservation will be counted as a no-show and will be charged 50% of the charter fee. If we need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen mechanical issues or illness of the Captain and Crew, all fees are refundable.
• Clothing Dress in layers and be prepared for wind. Even on warm and sunny days, winds can be strong out on the water. Bring appropriate clothing to ensure your own comfort. We do supply blankets and pillows for snuggling up.
• Motion Sickness Worried about getting seasick? Generally, staring at the horizon will take care of most motion sickness, but just in case - we have a natural essential oil blend that can help, and we are also happy to share with you some sailing tricks (acupressure points, breathing techniques, positioning on the deck, etc.) Dramamine and electrolytes are also available.
• Wildlife Stingrays, dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, flying fish, cormorant, pelicans, and many other animals are often spotted during our cruises...however, we cannot guarantee sightings. Having said that, we always keep a watchful eye on the water's surface, and we will point out all of our aquatic and aerian friends when we see them.
• Children We are delighted to welcome well-behaved kids over the age of 9.
• Miami & Lauderdale Though we are based in West Palm, with enough advance notice we can organize to offer our charters in the Miami and Fort Lauderdale areas as well. We aim to be flexible. Just give us a call and share your plans. We'll do what we can.

Frequently Asked Questions

• What happens if it rains? Most of our sails will run in all light rain and other moderate weather conditions. In the rare event that we have to cancel a sail due to severe wind or weather, you will have the opportunity to reschedule your tickets or receive credit for a future event.
• Is the trip suitable for pregnant women? Our boats are gentle and pregnant women shouldn’t have any problems, but if you are pregnant and concerned, you should check with your doctor before attending.
• Is the boat handicapped accessible? The catamaran is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible, but the crew is trained to assist you board and disembark. If you have further questions or concerns, please call and let us know about your particular situation.
• What boat will be going on? We will most likely go out on one of our  55 Foot catamaran,  up to 49 passenger cat designed and built to sail in the ocean with comfort and speed! It has tons of deck space, a shaded bar and lounge, covered seating, a stairway to the sea and two marine heads!
• Are there restrooms on board? Yes, there are two clean restrooms on board (for men and women) for your convenience.
• Can children come? Of course!
• How early should I arrive? We recommend arriving at least a half an hour beforehand
• What should I wear? Wear casual resort wear such as shorts,  boat shoes, sandals, windbreakers, tee-shirts, caps, etc. Bring a camera to capture all the sights along the way.
• Is the boat safe? Do you have life jackets? All of our vessels are safe and inspected regularly by the US Coast Guard. We do have more than enough life jackets on board.
• Will there be music? Yes! We will play a variety of music including top hits, latin, and calypso to put you in a relaxed tropical mood.
• Do you offer gift certificates? Yes! We have gift certificates for all of our trips. If you’re interested in purchasing a gift certificate, we sell them online, or we can customize one for you by telephone.

As the title implies, Dianne, the guide, began the West Palm Beach Walking Tour tour at the waterfront, providing brief history of Flagler’s projects across the Lagoon. Then onto E.R. Bradley’s, and the new Ben Hotel. At each stop, Dianne provided some “Backstory”, personalizing the developers as more than what some may view as opportunistic capitalists catering to the uber-wealthy. Then on to Clematis Street, which was especially interesting to me, a WPB resident. Dianne pointed out various architectural elements that were very relatable – former Woolworths store , etc. – and how creatively these buildings have been transformed in response to both the pandemic and “pop up” trends. And so many new restaurants – just about every imaginable cuisine and price point. I’ve attended several of Dianne Golder’s presentations, and tours, and find her a very knowledgeable and most engaging guide. So, I will keep an eye on your website for future opportunities.

My fiance and I joined the West Palm Beach Sunset cruise one evening as a date night. We live in West Palm, and at first, we were a bit hesitant it would be super touristy. We were so wrong! It was absolutely lovely! We packed a cooler and enjoyed wine along with cheese and crackers. The staff was incredible, and I am looking into renting the boat for a team building event for my coworkers. We absolutely loved it and look forward to bringing more people with us on our next excursion!

We took the Hakuna Matata on the sunset cruise, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience. We had family in from OK and we had never sailed on the catamaran even though we're locals. ‍‍‍The captain and staff were super knowledgeable and friendly. The weather was ideal for a cruise and our views of the sunset could only have improved on the west coast. Highly recommend it to ‍‍‍tourists and locals alike.‍‍‍

It was just so simple, so nice, staff were great, super clean boat, fun...and an amazing value (shhhhhh--they may charge more!) If you are not up for going out on a boat the whole day, this one and half hour tour is perfect for getting fresh air on the water, dancing to cool reggae tunes, watching the sunset, and drinking your favorite drink (BYOB and they will ice it and serve it; also you can bring your own cheese and crackers too if you like!). Happy to do this again as we are down in WPB often.

A must ride attraction well in West Palm Beach! We brought our 5 teenagers along with us and this is one we would all love to go on again. The staff was friendly, accommodating, informative and the boat was very clean. I recommend trying the staffs house punch which is available to purchase on the boat.

Though they can and do occasionally put a cool spin on things, they are rock solid in getting you fueled up and, considering you're going to Sunfest, ready to rock! With signature and build-your-own omelets that are made with five eggs and come standard with seasoned potatoes or cheesy grits AND pancakes you will be ready for anything. If you're looking to soothe that sweet tooth, consider the cinnamon roll french toast, lemon blueberry pancakes or the Nutella crepes.

With smoked Demkota brisket, mojo pulled pork, jerk turkey breast, spare ribs and even BBQ jackfruit there are platters to be built with two sides (don't miss the Jimmy Red cornbread!). Doubling down on their Southern identity, chef John "JT" Thomas creates his "global take on traditional Southern cuisine" by using only the best ingredients from the best areas. Got a favorite guilty pleasure food? Who doesn't. Sassafras aims to please with chicken and dumplings, fried green tomatoes, classic fried chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits with bacon, scallion and house hot sauce and much more. They are open for dinner Tuesday through Sunday and brunch on Saturday and Sunday.

When you have New Yorkers describing this New York-style pizza as better than anything in the Big Apple, you know it's legit and worth trying. Jokingly referring to West Palm Beach as "the sixth borough of New York," owner Johnny Ries makes their pizza with an 80-year-old dough recipe, originally created by his grandmother, scratch-made sauce and fresh toppings. Those those pies are then cooked to thin and crispy perfection in their coal-fired oven. Ries said it's actually a gas/coal hybrid oven in which the gas gets it up to 450 and then the coal "turbo charges it another 400 degrees."

Rivales Taqueria

Following a makeover and bringing in chef Guily Booth, owners Jimmy Rivas and brother/partner Alberto Valdiva have transformed the restaurant that was once known as JimmyChangas. Having competed on "Cutthroat Kitchen" and "Chef Wanted," Booth has elevated the menu with new dishes such as their short rib in Mexican mole sauce and the El Pulpo taco which features slow-cooked octopus, sautéed jalapeño and onions and tomatillo salsa. Some other customers favorites include the short rib birria tacos, tortas and elote.

Elisabetta's Ristorante

Located on the West Palm Beach waterfront and just north of Sunfest, this dinner and weekend brunch restaurant offers plenty of al fresco dining and a menu that is both fun and functional. Featuring homemade pastas, wood-fired entrées and pizzas, along with brunch items like eggs al forno over oven-roasted polenta and pandoro French toast, Elisabetta's has become a popular West Palm destination for good reason.

DalMoros Fresh Pasta To Go

Opened in March in the 400 block of Clematis Street, this relative newbie to the downtown scene features fresh-made (several times per day) pasta. There are actually four varieties of pasta including fusilli, rigatoni, fettuccine and bigoli. Top any of the four with one of their nine, made-in-house sauces including bolognese (fresh tomato sauce, ground beef, carrots, celery, onions), amatriciana (fresh tomato sauce, smoked pancetta, onion, black pepper), cacio e pepe (white cream sauce, pecorino cheese, black pepper) or mamma rosa (fresh tomato sauce, eggplant, ricotta cheese, black pepper, garlic), or one of their vegan-friendly varieties like napoletana, aglio, olio & peperoncino and you're ready to rock.

Rocco's Tacos & Tequilla Bar

As restauranteur Todd Herbst once said about the longevity of Rocco's Tacos on Clematis Street, "It's tacos. It's very simple. It's very striaght forward. Everybody loves tacos." There's of course, also enchiladas and fresh guacamole and those just-right spiced chips, and, of course, a bar. And it's all moderately priced.
