My husband & I were in Dallas for a get-a-way without kids. We did the 1 1/2 hour Dessert Cruise. It was very relaxing & romantic. We enjoyed our gondolier, Conner, who was very knowledgeable about Venetian gondola rides. He sang a few songs & did a wonderful job! I did the message in a bottle for my husband & I loved the way Conner pulled it off for my husband to find the bottle floating in the river!! It was perfect! The views are beautiful!! Highly recommend this attraction for a romantic outing!!

We had such a great time with Jon as our gondolier. He was a gentleman, very professional and respectful, with a fabulous singing voice to boot! He even filled us in on the places to go and one of his recommendations was our hangout for the weekend, in fact. Booked Gondola Adventures for my wedding entrance into ,venue on canal. The gondolier was very professional and allowed for an amazing entrance. The company is based in Las Vegas but was easy to communicate with Anne the contact person and she updated prior to the event. Well worth the money spent memories will last forever and even better than renting a limousine.

About a month ago, I trusted Gondola Adventures to help with my proposal to my girlfriend of 3 and a half years. While I was worried about never seeing anything in person before booking the gondola ride, they did a fantastic job. Everything I requested was executed beautifully by the staff and especially by our gondolier John. My fiancee and I now have memories that will last a lifetime, and I would highly recommend anyone thinking about giving this a shot to go for it.

My husband surprised me with my first gondola ride for my 36th birthday. Our gondolier was Joe, and he was amazing. He had a great voice and , was very informative, telling us about the area and actually making us want to see Opera, of all things. It was a beautiful day with breathtaking views and it made my birthday amazing.

I originally booked the gondola ride last year for one year wedding anniversary. Unfortunately tornado weather occurred the entire weekend so was given a 1 year reign check. So 2nd anniversary has rolled around so I decided to surprise hubby. Boy did Gondolier Jimmy exceeded my expectations. I opted for the manual 1 hour row with chocolates and sparkling cider. The weather was just right, Jimmy serenading, and me melting in my husbands arms. The scenery was picture perfect out of a book. Anne, you were right as Jimmy was great. Thank you for making my 2nd anniversary unforgettable. Will definitely be back :)

Romantic Italian Evening

For our anniversary, I took my wife to a little Italian Cafe in Los Colinas, then we walked over to the Omni Hotel. Behind it on the little lake, a gondola rounded the corner, and she asked, "what is that?" I told her it was coming for us, and she could not believe it. What a wonderful, romantic cruise on the canals and lake of Los Colinas while being seranaded by the gondolier and enjoying sparkling cider and chocolates. Do you need a romantic surprise? You have to try this one.

I just wanted to thank you guys for making it so perfect and wonderful. I was proposing to my girlfriend and it all worked out amazingly well, thanks to your hospitality. Our gondolier John, was simply the best. He sang beautiful songs and made sure everything was done perfectly. My husband and I enjoyed our Gondola cruise at sunset and enjoyed the sparkling apple cider and chocolate truffels. The songs the Gondalier sang were absolutely beautiful and the dozen of roses my husband requested from them for me were gorgeous!

My challenge: Plan a date night in advance of our trip to Texas and keep it a surprise. I had saw the gondola rides mentioned in the Omni website as I booked the room for our vacation and it seemed like a perfect plan for a romantic night. I booked it for 7:45 to avoid the extreme heat yet still have some daylight left to enjoy the sights. After booking the ride online, I was contacted by Anne in their California office the next day to run through the details (that it was a surprise, that the cruise option chosen included chocolates and sparkling cider, that I had requested a rose, etc.) and confirm the logistics of meeting our gondolier (our gondolier was John, warm, friendly guy with a Texas accent who surprised us with his singing voice). The plan was to walk out the garden-level door at Trevi's restaurant and stroll to the dock, where our gondolier would meet us. The surprise worked out perfectly and we enjoyed an hour-long ride around the lake with quiet music playing and occasional serenading from John. And just as I has been told in Venice, kissing was encouraged as we passed under bridges. Other things had brought us to Texas, but for me, the thing I always will remember is the wonderfully happy look on my love's face as she glided around the lake. A most excellent date idea.

Wow, the gondola exceeded my expectations! It was great to see a different side of Las Colinas from the canal. It was very private and wonderful. Our gondolier, Dallas was fantastic. He had the most amazing voice and his serenade made the trip. All I kept thinking was that we now have the perfect thing to do when family visits. Our kids would really enjoy it too. We will be back.

PORTLAND, Ore. — Aaliyah Moore had 16 points, 10 rebounds and six assists, Shaylee Gonzales added 15 points, and top-seeded Texas used a smothering defense to roll past fourth-seeded Gonzaga 69-47 on Friday night in the Portland 4 Regional semifinal.

Overlooked among the other No. 1 seeds in the NCAA Tournament, the Longhorns looked every bit the part of a title contender this March Madness, stymieing Gonzaga’s high-scoring offense and flustering the Bulldogs into an awful night at the offensive end.

Texas (33-4) won for the 15th time in 16 games and never made it easy for the Bulldogs. Their size was too much for Gonzaga to handle and the Longhorns’ defense held Gonzaga to just three made field goals and forced nine turnovers in a dominant first half.

Shay Holle’s corner 3-pointer in the closing seconds of the half gave the Longhorns a 37-18 halftime lead and Texas was on its way to its first Elite Eight appearance since the 2021-22 season.

No. 3 seed North Carolina State, which rolled past second-seeded Stanford, awaits Texas on Sunday in the regional final. Texas has not reached the Final Four since 2003.

Holle added 12 points and Texas dominated despite a quiet night from Big 12 player of the year Madison Booker. Booker was slowed by foul trouble in the first half and finished with six points and eight rebounds in 25 minutes.

Yvonne Ejim led Gonzaga (32-4) with 14 points, but picked up her first foul 30 seconds into the game and struggled with foul trouble before eventually fouling out. Brynna Maxwell added 13 points, but the winningest season in school history for Gonzaga finished with a whimper.

The Bulldogs shot just 26.5% and the 47 points were the fewest since last year’s NCAA Tournament first-round loss to Mississippi when the Zags managed just 48 points. Gonzaga entered the game as the best 3-point shooting team in the country at 40.1%, but went 4 of 22 from beyond the 3-point line with most of their looks challenged by the size of the Longhorns’ lineup. Gonzaga’s perimeter combo of Kayleigh and Kaylynne Truong were a combined 3 of 18 shooting and 1 of 12 on 3s.

Gonzaga was seeking its second Elite Eight appearance in school history and first since 2011.

Gonzaga made one spurt in the third quarter, cutting a 21-point lead to 12, but Gonzales’ third 3-pointer pushed the lead back to 15 and it was back to 21 by the end of the quarter.
