Do I need a visa to travel to United States?

It depends on where you’re from. Many countries now operate under the United States Visa Waiver Program, meaning a visa isn’t required for stays of up to 90 days for travel purposes. There are 40 participating countries, including the United Kingdom , Australia , New Zealand, Germany and Spain.

If you're eligible for the Visa Waiver Program, you must obtain a letter of authorization before you travel to the States. This can be obtained by submitting an application through the Electronic System for Travel Authorisation ( ESTA ).

If you’re a national from a non-participating country of the Visa Waiver Program, you must apply for a non-immigrant visa. Please see the Department of State website for more information.

If you have traveled to Iran, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Sudan, Somalia, Yemen or the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on or after 1 March 2011, you are ineligible and must apply for a non-immigrant visa instead.

People from a participating country who are also citizens of Cuba, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Iran, Iraq, Syria or Sudan must also apply for a non-immigrant visa.

Cons: 1. Daniel Webster Inn was over-rated. Would not stay there again. 2. Visit to the Plimouth Plantation was a waste of time. Spent way too much time there. 3. Transportation from Logan Airport to the Boston Hyatt was a mess!!!! No signs, no directions, and the taxi driver had no idea what to do with the voucher. Ended up paying for the taxi! Ridiculous!! 4. Service at the included dinner at the Daniel Webster Inn was horrible!! Kathy (our waitress) should be fired! However, the food was delicious! 5. Not enough time spent in Nantucket. 6. Way too much time spent at the Breakers in Newport. 7. This should not be considered an 8-day tour. All we did on day 8 was ride on the bus to the airport! Pros: 1. Tour director Robin was outstanding!! Wellness director, Brittany, was also fabulous! 2. Canolis, Cape Code Chips and Cape Codders on the bus was a nice touch! Thoroughly enjoyed the snacks on the bus! 3. Ferry to Martha's Vineyard was fun! Thoroughly enjoyed the talk session/information about the Martha's Vineyard Camp Meeting Association. Very interesting. 4. Local guide tour of Nantucket Island was great! Lots of interesting information. Not enough time spent in Nantucket. 5. Loved the Harbor View hotel! 6. Great tour guide and other personnel. Most hotels adequate to very good, especially the Trapp Lodge. Food adequate for the most part. Overall, a very nice trip and the colors were fantastic!

3 Day Smoky Mountains Hiking Experience

A wonderful trip. Three days of mountain hiking, 2 nights in amazing super deluxe mountain cabins, 2 dinners at their very upscale and inventive restaurant with two excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable guides. My only caveat was self induced. Mountain trail hiking is the real deal. And I was not physically prepared for it. Especially the first day which was the most difficult. To be fair day two and three were much easier. The mountains are beautiful, the town is great, and everyone had a friendliness that one doesn’t often find. Overall I confidently recommend this trip for anyone. Especially those who have a little mountain trail experience.

Washington D.C – Philadelphia (1 Night)

Today we explore Washington DC, we see Capitol Hill, take a photo stop at the backdrop of White House – official residence of the president of the United States of America. Later we visit Lincoln Memorial – built to honour the 16th president of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. It is also an important symbol of the American Civil Rights Movement and Martin Luther King Jr’s famous speech ‘I have a Dream’. Then we pass by Washington Monument – The Obelisk. Later we proceed to Philadelphia. Upon arrival, we see Philadelphia City Hall, Independence Hall and Liberty Bell building. Then we drive on the famous Benjamin Franklin Parkway – a scenic boulevard known as Champs-Élysées of Philadelphia. It also has an international flavour by being lined with flags of countries from around the world, it’s fun to spot our Indian national flag. Its time to see the Rocky Statue and the Rocky Steps and click an iconic picture.

Philadelphia – Hershey’s – Niagara Falls / Buffalo (2 Nights)

Today we proceed to Niagara Falls – Natural Wonder of the World and a dream of every person on the Earth to visit it. En-route we visit Hershey’s Chocolate World – One of the largest manufactures of chocolate in the world. Enjoy Hershey’s Chocolate Tour and buy famous Hershey’s Kisses and other popular chocolates.

Today we explore famous Niagara Falls, we enjoy a Helicopter Ride (subject to weather conditions) – fly high and witness Niagara Falls from the sky offering breath-taking views. We also visit Niagara Aerospace Museum – displays a 100-year collection of Western New York's rich aviation and aerospace history. We then visit the Goat Island and get really close to the falls by visiting Cave of the Winds – a natural cave behind Bridal Veil Falls at the Niagara Falls. Later, we enjoy 'Maid of the Mist' boat ride and get an opportunity to see the three falls – Horseshoe Falls, American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls. In the afternoon, we visit the architectural wonder - Prospect Point Observation Tower to get an unobstructed panoramic view of the Niagara Falls. Later we enjoy shopping at Fashion Outlet Mall in Niagara. In the evening witness the illumination where Niagara Falls is transformed into an incredible, multi-coloured water and light masterpiece. Please Note: Cave of the winds and Maid of the mist starts from Mid-May. Get a chance to view the frozen Niagara Falls during winters Please Note: In 2020, the helicopter ride at Niagara Falls wasn't included in our itinerary. We've added it for Apr 2024 onwards tours. Today we proceed to New York – the most loved city as well as major commercial, financial and cultural centre of the world, also known as Big Apple. En-route we visit Corning Museum of Glass – the museum's Glass Collection showcases more than 35 centuries of glass artistry and modern installations made by international artists, also known for the Gorilla Glass – the ultra-thin layer that Steve Jobs picked to shield the I phone in 2007. Here we see The Hot Glass Show which demonstrates the process of glass making

Today we take a ferry ride to Liberty Island to see the Statue of Liberty – a colossal neoclassical sculpture on Liberty Island in New York Harbour. This copper statue was a gift of friendship from the people of France to the people of the United States. It is recognized as a universal symbol of freedom and democracy. This statue was designed by French sculptor Frédéric Bartholdi and its metal framework by Gustave Eiffel. Take the perfect photo of the statue. Afterwards we explore New York City, we see the Charging Bull – Symbol of the American Stock Market, 9/11 Memorial – a national tribute to honour the lives lost in September 11, 2001 attacks on Twin Towers and visit the Observatory deck of One World Trade Center – the tallest skyscraper in the Western Hemisphere that gives panoramic views of New York City. We then pass by BMW bridges. BMW stands for Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge & Williamsburg Bridge. Further we pass by Rockefeller centre, Trump Tower and United Nations Headquarters. We take a stroll around Times Square – A Major commercial intersection, tourist destination and a hub of Broadway theatres in the Midtown Manhattan known for its big, bright, unforgettable arena with flashing neon lights and giant digital billboards.

• As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.
• Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.
• It is also recommended that you have one cross shoulder bag or haversack for your handy needs which will ensure that you are comfortable at the time of sightseeing and also easy for photography during your tour.
• A smart cap/hat and sunglasses are definitely something that you should have in your kit.
• Though Veena World provides all three meals, that is breakfast, lunch, dinner and Veena World treats as per the itinerary, you can carry dry snacks of your choice in small sealed packets for munching during air travel or road journeys.
• If you are travelling during the monsoon or to destinations where it is rainy, please carry a small umbrella or poncho.
• For international tours, please carry a universal adapter for charging your cameras and mobile phones.
• Ensure that your clothing and footwear is suitable for the destination you are travelling to.

Documents Required for Travel

• Original passport with minimum 6 months validity from the date of tour arrival along with sufficient blank pages for the stamping of visa
• A valid Tourist Visa for the duration of the tour
• Handwritten passport is not acceptable
• Children whose parents are not accompanying them on tour, require to carry an NOC from their parents / guardian

Guest can pay by Cheque/ Demand Draft/ Debit card / Credit card/ NEFT/ RTGS/ IMPS. For Debit / Credit card payment additional 1.8 % convenience charge will be applicable Cheque / Demand draft should be in favour of "Veena Patil Hospitality Pvt ltd"

• All meals are provided by Veena World in case the flight reaches the stipulated destination early morning or leaves destination late in the evening.
• ‘In Case if any sightseeing is not done due to weekly closure, an alternative sightseeing will be done for the same’.
• Standard Check-in and check-out time of International hotels is usually 1500hrs and 1200hrs respectively.
• Guests may please note that for Domestic flights or internal flights from one city to another city on international tours, the baggage allowance will be as per the respective airline baggage policy and weight regulations. Guests are requested to pack their belongings and carry luggage in accordance to the respective airlines baggage allowance. Excess baggage (if any) will be chargeable as per the airline policy and the same has to be borne by the guest.
