They combine a tough nylon outer is combined with dense padding to withstand knocks and blows while on the move. The Air Motion lining assists with temperature regulation: this 3D fabric technology circulates air to wick away moisture and ensure maximum breathability. Strong, touch-close straps allow full adjustability for a great fit. PVC scuff guards add further protection and durability.

Which couriers do you use?

Before choosing a courier, please make sure you are happy with the product availability message as these handling times apply before we ship your order.  If it doesn’t show “Express warehouse: immediate despatch”, it will not leave us on the same day you have placed the order.

We use   FedEx, DPD   and   Royal Mail   for most of our deliveries.  Some large items may come with other trusted 3rd party couriers.

Our   Royal Mail   economy service is usually delivered in   two - three days .  You will receive a text message and an email confirming the day of delivery; Royal Mail provide a four hour time window for delivery.

FedEx and DPD   are delivered   next working day   from point of despatch for UK mainland addresses or in two working days for Scottish Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland, and Irish addresses.  You will receive a text message and an email confirming the day for delivery. 

Selecting FedEx or DPD does not mean your order will bypass our handling times; FedEx and DPD are from the point of despatch, not the point of purchase. 

If an item has an "Oversized goods must select FedEx" overlay on it, please ensure you select FedEx as your delivery option to avoid any delays with your order.

These Shires Arma Air Defence Travel Boots are made with a 3D fabric to help keep your horse's legs cooler while travelling. Featuring touch close fastening and a durable outer.

We endeavour to post out your goods the same day they are ordered; however, in busy periods this can take a little longer.

• Standard UK delivery is £3.95 or free over £75*
• UK Mainland orders over £75 receive free delivery*
• UK Mainland Royal Mail Express is £5.95 - Tracked 24 delivery
• UK Mainland DPD Express is £5.95 (order must be placed before 3pm Monday to Thursday to qualify)
• UK Saturday Delivery is £11.50.
• UK Sunday Delivery is £11.50 is suspended (9/11/22)
• UK Non-Mainland Delivery is £3.95 under £50 or £8.50 over £50.
• Smaller items are posted Tracked 48 with Royal Mail and usually take 1-4 days from point of order to arrive
• *Some items have to be sent via courier due to delivery restrictions such as heavy items and aerosols
• Large, heavy or multiple items are delivered by DPD (signature required).
• DPD Next Working Day Delivery is available to the majority of mainland UK at a cost of £5.95. Orders must be placed before 3pm Monday - Thursday to qualify excluding Bank Holiday's. Orders placed after 3pm Friday and over the weekend will be collected on Monday for delivery Tuesday or Wednesday, the majority of our parcels are delivered the next working day.
• Saturday or Sunday Delivery is £11.50 and available to most UK Mainland postcodes (excludes Highlands). Orders must be placed by 3pm on Friday, please note our courier cannot collect at the weekend so orders must also be placed by 3pm on Friday.
• Postcodes ineligible for Next Day/Saturday Delivery – All Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands, AB31-56, F17-21, G83, GY9, HS1-9, IM, IV, KA27-28, KW0-17, PA20-78, PH15-99, TR21-25, ZE.

• You have 28 days to return a non-sale item to us; items must be in their original packaging, unworn and not damaged. A full refund or exchange will be given.
• You have 14 days to return a sale item to us for a full refund; items must be in their original packaging, unworn and not damaged. A full refund or exchange will be given.
• You must make your own arrangements to return goods to us and all postage costs are to be covered by you unless the goods are deemed faulty

Christmas 2022 Extended Returns Policies - From November 1st 2022 non-sale items may be returned until January 12th 2023 or 28 days after purchase whichever is longer.
• You have 28 days to return a sale item to us for a full refund; you then have a further 7 days in which you can return the item but no refund can be given - you will be offered either an exchange or credit note (valid for 12 months).
• If an item is faulty on arrival you have 14 days in which to contact us for a full refund for the item or exchange. If an item is faulty you will be sent a postage label to return the item to us at no expense to yourself. Please contact us to advise of the fault and request a postage label. We regret we cannot reimburse your postage costs if you choose not to use a pre-paid label. Items deemed faulty after this period will be dealt with on a case by case basis in consultation with manufacturers.
• If a parcel looks damaged on arrival do not sign for it; instead, refuse the parcel as damaged during posting.

All orders will contain a returns form, please follow the instructions on this form to return an item.

You must make your own arrangements to return goods to us and all postage costs are to be covered by you unless the goods are deemed faulty. We recommend that you obtain proof of postage as Horse Direct cannot be held responsible for any items lost during transit back to us.

We aim to deliver your order right away. We will normally send your order to you during the course of the next business day. International orders are generally received in under 7 days. 

You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.  You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.  Click & Collect If you are wanting to collect your order from our store we now offer a Click & Collect service.  Please select Click & Collect at checkout and allow 24 hours from placing your order to collection.  You will receive an email confirmation when it is ready to collect.

If your new exchange item is cheaper than your original purchase, we will automatically refund you the difference. If your new exchange is more expensive than your original purchase, we recommend that you request a full refund for the original item, and then place a new order for the replacement item. In the unfortunate occasion that the item you would like to exchange for is out of stock, we will automatically send you a refund.

HTTPS and HSTS for secure connections

Stripe forces HTTPS for all services using TLS (SSL), including our public website and the Dashboard to ensure secure connections:

• Stripe.js is served only over TLS.
• Stripe’s official libraries connect to Stripe’s servers over TLS and verify TLS certificates on each connection.

We regularly audit the details of our implementation, including the certificates we serve, the certificate authorities we use, and the ciphers we support. We use HSTS to ensure that browsers interact with Stripe only over HTTPS. Stripe is also on the HSTS preloaded lists for both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox .

Sensitive data and communication encryption

All card numbers are encrypted at rest with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. None of Stripe’s internal servers and daemons can obtain plain text card numbers but can request that cards are sent to a service provider on a static allowlist. Stripe’s infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in a separate hosting environment, and doesn’t share any credentials with Stripe’s primary services including our API and website.

We accept all major credit, debit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Klarna and Clearpay which are processed by Stripe. We also accept payments via your Paypal or Amazon accounts. To help you keep track of your account activity, PayPal and Amazon send an email confirmation of every account transaction. Designed to help legs stay cooler while travelling these Shires Arma Air Defence Travel Boots are made with a 3D fabric to have a cooling airflow action.

We endeavour to post out your goods the same day they are ordered; however, in busy periods this can take a little longer.

• Standard UK delivery is £3.95 or free over £75* excluding non-Mainland, Highlands & Northern Ireland
• UK Mainland orders over £75 receive free delivery*
• UK Mainland Royal Mail Express is £5.95 an expedited tracked service.
• UK Mainland DPD Express Delivery is £5.95. If ordered on a Friday the next working day is Monday, in times of high parcel numbers DPD may deliver this on Saturday. There will be a text and/or email notification sent to let you know when DPD intend to deliver.
• UK Saturday Delivery - is £11.50 - Order before Friday 3pm.
• UK Sunday Delivery - is £11.50 - Order before Friday 3pm. We do not have a weekend collection so orders placed on Saturday for Sunday will be for the following Sunday.
• UK Non-Mainland Delivery is £3.95 under £50, or £8.50 on orders over £50 this is due to higher cost of shipping
• Smaller items are posted with Royal Mail and usually take 1-4 days from the point of order to arrive during normal levels of activity.

The Shires Arma Air Motion Defence Travel Boots offer high levels of protection whilst travelling, yet are also breathable. The tough nylon outer is combined with dense padding to withstand knocks and blows whilst your horse is on the move. To assist with temperature regulation, the boots feature an Air Motion lining that circulates air to wick away moisture and ensure maximum breathability. Strong touch close straps allow full adjustability for a great fit and PVC scuff guards add further protection and durability.

Signing for your parcel

Many of our parcels require a signature upon delivery to ensure they are received safely.

Please provide us with an address where someone will be in - we can deliver to friends, family, neighbours or your workplace – please provide this alternative address in the delivery address field. If you’d prefer your parcel to be left in a safe place, please make a note of this in the delivery comments box. Delivery to your safe location will be at your own risk. Please note that we cannot deliver to PO Boxes. Eland Lodge will not be held responsible for or issue refunds for items that are damaged or lost after the items have been successfully delivered to your selected delivery address.

If you’re out when the courier attempts to deliver they will leave an information card for you, this will state:

If the courier will attempt re-delivery (delivery will be attempted a total of 2 times) If the courier has left your order in your nominated safe place Whether you need to arrange collection from your local depot

Tracking your parcel

Once your order is ready for dispatch we’ll provide you with a tracking number and courier, so that you can track your parcel on their website.

If there could be a delay

We always do everything we can to get your parcel to you on time. If we think that there may be a delay with your parcel we will contact you to let you know (and if you’re not happy with the revised delivery date we will of course cancel your order and refund you in full).

There are some unforeseen circumstances that can prevent your parcel arriving on time that are out of our control, such as: courier breakdown, extreme weather and illness.

Problem with your delivery?

If you receive your parcel and believe that it’s damaged or something is missing, please let us know straight away and keep your packaging/delivery note. Our helpful team will get this sorted for you as quickly as possible.

Click & Collect

If you’ve chosen click and collect your order will be ready to collect from our store within 2 working hours. We will hold your item for one month (unless you’ve requested an item be held until a specific date) – if it’s not collected by this time you will be refunded and the item returned to our store.

International delivery

This is not a service that we currently offer. However, if you wish to arrange parcel forwarding with a third party, we can deliver within the UK.
