After the PC finishes talking to her, she takes her leave, laughing maniacally all the way.
• "This is the brand of cereal I eat back home. I see this box every day." (The crewman opens the box.) "Ew! What is this, mud? Is this what demons eat?... Maybe it's an acquired taste?"
• "Hey, welcome to the sector Carina shopping center! Our awful location, lousy selection, and terrible customer service make us #1 in shopper mortality!"
• One crew member wonders if the sector accepts credit cards.
• Horkos with the entirety of the ''Elve'' inside of his belly is quite frankly a hilarious sight to behold.

• Near the start of Sector Grus, the player can run into an Archangel that is getting frustrated with all the illusions... before then making it clear that they are in fact absolutely not lost .
• Nearly any dialogue involving NPC demons of the "Beast" personality type (a Boisterous Bruiser with No Indoor Voice ). In particular, in the Chaos path, there's a friendly Nidhoggr in Sector Carina who helpfully informs you: " COSMIC EGG SOUND TASTY! BUT TOO POWERFUL. NOT GOOD FOR EATING. DO NOT PUT IN MOUTH ."
• You can also sometimes trick "Young girl"-personality demons into your party by telling them there's a ghost behind them. Bonus points if the demon in question is, in fact, a type of ghost.
• Surprisingly enough, the durian is actually the best option to choose for some demons.
• Some demons, however, will be impressed if you choose that, applauding your guts to insult them to their face.
• Calling Jack Frost a mascot will get him to join you immediately, but doing the same to Pyro Jack rubs him the wrong way, who tells you that "you've got the wrong Jack!"
• When talking to Jack Frost and Pyro Jack, and asked what you are, call yourself a "Hee-Ho" .
• In Jack's Squad HQ , you can try talking to Jack's soldiers, who will note that you're trying to use the demon language translator to talk to humans.
• During negotiations, the demon may ask for a 6-digit amount of Macca, an Incense, or some other extremely valuable item ( they're always joking when they make such an absurd demand, and will always follow-up with a far more reasonable one ). One of the options is not simply a "no", but a "Hell no."
• And while he staggers away in pain, Bugaboo takes the time to give you a Death Glare .
• Dent's minigames (where you're killing time, as the sidequest names indicate) are accompanied by the battle theme .
• Alot of the descriptions for the achievements you can get are hilarious, A few examples are: "You are fast, Like a child running away. It still seems better to stand and fight, but training your legs is good too." "You're the King of fleeing we bestow upon you the title of Road Runner. No one has legs faster then yours, or a belly so yellow." "Ran into walls 255 times! Fear not: the demonica's superior build quality won't get so much as a scratch. The most advanced materials were used to create it, and can take any punishment. ...Even so, 255 times is a bit much. calm down spaz." "The technical term is "Fixed-perspective movement," but we like to call it "crab walking" thats right, you have crab walked 3000 steps. You have earned the title of Crab Master! Try it in daily life to gain an advantage over slow walkers!" "You fell into a pitfall! This was your first pitfall in the schwarzwelt, wasn't it? how did it feel as you fell? Anyway You've been introduced to the typical cheap trap. Be very careful from this point on." "...You're not starting to ENJOY falling through pit traps, we hope?"
• Mara 's Pre Ass Kicking One Liner : "Through my charms, your kind will reach their climax and... die!"
• Redux provides a meta example. In Shin Megami Tensei IV , the demons known as Mitra and Mithras in the original Strange Journey swapped names. While this wasn't a big deal then, the name swap kept in Redux , where, like in the original, Mitra (now Mithras) is the second Arc Villain and Mithras (now Mitra) is his One-Winged Angel form .
• A retrospective one, by the time you reach the Sixth Sphere of the Womb of Grief in Redux . If you've been keeping up with Demonee-Ho's requests, he issues his final one here: You do battle with his true form — Zaou-Gongen. It's rather amusing to imagine such a badass character behaving like the Drill Sergeant Nasty Demonee-Ho is, and Zaou-Gongen has been rather amused himself with keeping up the act. Before then of course, it's just amusing to watch a Jack Frost quote and act like Gunnery Sergeant Hartman while somehow scaring the protagonist, a special forces officer and veteran, into acting like a Private on day one of basic training.
• Throughout the Womb of Grief, you have several encounters with Shaytan, who's had his eye on Alex the whole time. In the Sixth Sphere, the protagonist walks in on a scene where Shaytan's trying to become Alex's demon. Shaytan's first words to Alex is a confession .
• Redux adds and changes a few special passwords. One of them summons a specialized Mara, and in the original game the password was the name of a staff member, "Nich Mara gos" . The password in Redux , however? "Thanks r/megaten " .
• The fact that New Game Plus allows you to fuse what is strongly suggested to be YHVH via Metatron and the Demiurge, meaning that not only does God get beaten by you again into submission, but you have the chance to pull off the resurrection of him, a not to the franchise's title. And there's some added hilarity in him joining you in taking out Shekinah, given that she was trying to create a world dedicated to worshipping him through her as a medium. On a meta level, YHVH joining you on the final fight instead of being the final fight himself is both this and a moment of awesome.
