Pilgrimage to Medjugorje – Marian Pilgrimages to Medjugorje
The Medjugorje Pilgrimage 2024 or 2025 tour spends one week in the peaceful mountain hamlet in Bosnia Herzegovina where the Virgin Mary has been appearing since June 25, 1981. After arriving in Dubrovnik, Split, or Sarajevo, you will be met by a local guide from Medjugorje who will bring you back to his home village recounting the story of Our Lady’s first apparitions along the way. You will attend Mass and pray the Rosary daily with the villagers and other pilgrims from around the world at St. James Church. During the Medjugorje Pilgrimage, you will have the opportunity to climb Apparition Hill where Our Lady first appeared, and to make the Way of the Cross as you ascend Cross Mountain. Your guide for the Medjugorje Pilgrimage Tour will arrange for you to meet any of the visionaries who are in the village at the time and to hear young men from the Cenacolo community share their stories of conversion and witness to the healing power of Faith. It is said that Our Lady invites all her Children to Medjugorje to lead them to a closer relationship with Her Son, Jesus, and to exhort us to Pray for Peace in our hearts, in our homes, and our communities. For more information regarding Medjugorje itself, consult the Official Medjugorje website here. Book your Marian Pilgrimage to Medjugorje in 2024 or 2025 today.

Beautiful Medjugorje pilgrimage! Everything was perfect! The travel arrangements, the accommodations and the most holy spiritual experience of being in Medjugorje was beyond perfect! Thank you Catholic Journeys for all the work put into these Pilgrimages.
This marked my third pilgrimage with Catholic Journeys, following my initial experience a decade ago in Medjugorje, a pilgrimage to the Holy Land two years ago, and a Medjugorje pilgrimage last month. Each pilgrimage has proven to be a truly unforgettable experience.
I can genuinely attest that this recent pilgrimage to Medjugorje was nothing short of perfect. Our group visited Apparition Hill, walked through fields each morning to attend Mass, and I discovered my preferred adoration chapel – the Oasis of Peace. I am forever grateful that I took this Catholic journey, it brought true joy to my life and I enjoyed every second of it.
The accommodations at Marija’s Magnificat Center were delightful, and the staff was courteous and very helpful. I enjoyed the meals and the overall stay.
The profound sense of peace that enveloped me during this last journey was truly remarkable. I am eager to return, and I would do so without any hesitation. I will never forget this trip, it has truly impacted my life for the better.
Sr. Mary Kim
Hi Jimmy and Catholic Journey Staff, Thank you so much for the opportunity to have a pilgrimage to Medjugorje. I did have a great experience – peace and joy filled with the encounter of Our Lady of Medugorje’s presence. Surely, I am and have been blessed with this grace-filled pilgrimage to Medjugorje to complete my Golden Jubilee as a Religious Sister, the Bride of Christ. May God continue to bless you and your staff for the great work in preparing the times, good opportunities for people to have a deeper relationship with God and His dear our Mother Mary. Wishing you, Fr. Paul, Marcelle, and Hannah and your staff a very Mary Christmas and Happy, grace-filled and good health for the New Year. Love and prayers, Sr. Mary Kim
This pilgrimage to Medjugorje was one of my greatest experiences. Everyone got along greatly. Our guide was excellent as usual, Terri Smith was fantastic sharing her experience and the group itself shares stories and makes comment on WhatsApp. I was able to celebrate Mass with my group and con-celebrate daily. I really enjoyed myself as I think I will have new friends for life. I highly recommend this Medjugorje pilgrimage tour and hope to go back one day.
Our recent Pilgrimage to Medjugorge was delightful and filled with signs from God and blessings from Our Mother. All of our flight schedules worked out perfectly and the proximity of Hotel Villa Mia was an excellent choice as it is adjacent to the St.James Catholic Church campus. Jimmy and the staff at Catholic Journeys went out of their way to join us up with their existing pilgrim group even though we booked a month prior to the event. As always I hated to leave that heavenly realm of Medjugorge. Thanks for this spirit-filled Medjugorje pilgrimage.

I took a pilgrimage tour of Sicily, Loreto, Sorento/Amalfi and Rome. Tour guide (Luca Maglietta) was extremely organized, helpful, patient and knowlegeable. He was a great problem solver. Was able to herd the 43 "cats" that were in our party. We had knowlegeable "specialist" tour guides in each of the areas that we visited (Pompeii, Vatican, Taromina, ...) who were also great. Busses were new and clean. The drivers knew their stuff winding through he narrow roads of Sicily. The 206 office staff was easy to book with and work with. My online interactions regarding booking and invoicing were also seemless. I would recommend 206 to anyone looking to book a pilgrimage tour.
Our tour a the The Temple of Juno in Agrigento, Sicily.
Our pilgrimage in April to Poland was well organized and all went quite smooth. We can't wait to participate in future 206 tours.
We recently we on a trip to Italy with 206. The guides were great and the experience overall was amazing.
Just returned from Greek tour (In the Footsteps of St. Paul). Not generally a tour person, but this exceeded my expectations. Eleni was an amazing tour director: knowledgeable, personable and amazing attention to detail. Particularly pleased with the spiritual aspect. We will use 206 in future.

Its been a couple of weeks since we arrived from Medugojre. Returning from a trip like this and after living such an amazing spiritual experience, writing a negative review becomes awkard. Our experience with the Pilmigrage was excellent as we were blessed to be in a group that included a Priest, a beautiful soprano and tenor who sang at each of the group masses. It was the perfect touch, beside having a tour guide with whom the group bonded perfectly. We still stay in touch with him. Our problem was with the staff of 206 Tours. In March 2023, we contacted 206 Tours and asked if my husband needed a Visa and was told he did not. A second call was made in April where I and the person who invited us to the pilmigrage was on the line too. She heard me asking if my husband who is a Resident (Green card) needed a Visa and was answered, he did not. In June, I finalized the full payment for both of us. Towards the end of July, my husband told me to call again because he taught he needs to have a Visa. I told him I had asked twice and the answer was no. To relief the stress he had, I called again and spoke with the staff who told me this time that I needed to call the Embassy of the country of origin of my husband. I quickly called and was told I had to call the Embassy of the traveling country--Bosnia. I call right away and was informed that YES my husband needed a Visa. To get the Visa we had to travel to Washington DC or New York to apply in person and that the Visa process takes 90 days. The Embassy even suggest for us to travel via Croatia which did not required a Visa. I called back 206 Tours and told the staff the information I received. We were unable to travel to Washington DC or NY. I informed her that the Bosnia Embassy suggested if I travel via Croatia my husband did not needed a Visa. The reply I got was that she was going to see if she could get us a flight to Croatia. I waited two days and called back 206 Tours as I did not hear from her. She informed me that the flight was coming in late and I became worried as to who will be waiting for us. Apparently no one, we were on our own. All of the sudden, I received an email from her tell me what I told her on the phone and now all communication had to be via email. A week went by without no resolution, so my husband told me for me to go along with the rest of the family that he would stay. Being this was the only solution, I call 206 Tours to cancel. I was told that the $400 deposit was not going to be refunded and that 25% of the payment made was not going to be refunded. I informed this before the 61 days per the refund policy. I was only refunded $1549.25 and had to wait over a month. I felt this was the miscommunication and the lack of information or knowledge. I am a business owner, and for me client satisfaction is big. I felt I was treated without compassion, and like oh we messed up, lets ignore this so that it would go away. Thanks to God money for us is not an issue...neverthless the full refund minus the $400 would have been appreciated it as this was not our fault.. it was because of the misinformation which was provided to us. I was upset and prayed on this. I am writing this review not to hurt anyone, but rather to let other people know my experience, as this is alot of money, that many people work hard to put together to make this pilmigrage. I know that effective Jan 2024 every one traveling to Europe will need a Visa as it is now required. This lack of information cost us $1549.25. I've made believe this was a donation or charity made. Please verify all information if traveling this year with 206 Tours, as the staff will be nice at the beginning and then when something goes wrong, they will not talk to you. We also had the problem that we were a family of 14 and requested from the beginning to be seated closed by in the flight. This did not happen, we were all scattered through the plane. There is not much you can do until 206 Tours releases the flight to the airline and by then the flight is full. My daughter had called to get some information regarding the hotel, and we are still waiting for the return call.

Dear Erlyn we are happy that you enjoyed your pilgrimage and that it has had such a profound impact on our own heart! I am deeply saddened by any frustration caused regarding obtaining a visa for your husband, in our terms and conditions which you acknowledged we noted that we cannot take responsibility for any travel documents. However, we waived rule as I felt bad and I absorbed costs and sent you a check for full refund, which you have yet to cash? We sent you an email and I personally called and left you a voicemail which you have yet to return. Needless to say I am puzzled with your review and pray that you would give me a call to resolve your problem. God bless, Milanka President and Founder
Amazing Holy Land Tour. My wife and I had been on a Fatima & Lourdes tour previously. Both were very well done. Excellent guides. Daily mass. I highly recommend 206.
I recently returned from our pilgrimage trip to Jordan, Israel and Oberammergau, Germany. Everything went terrific during our travel in Jordan, and the Holy Lands and while in Oberammergau, Germany to watch the live Passion Play. On our departure to return back to the United States we were staying for the night in Munich. As a requirement on returning to the U.S. a negative PCR test was needed and it turned out that there were few of us were positive. Worried of being stranded in Germany for several days we were constantly looking for ways of how to get out of Germany and to return to the U.S. Everyday we were being checked and monitored and Javier who was assigned to be our contact person, was always calling us to see if we needed anything as they ( 206tours) were trying to figure out how to get us out of the country. Finally, the time came when we have to fly to another European country to catch a flight to Toronto to connect another flight for Detroit from Buffalo, New York then Seattle. During that time of waiting, Milanka and Javier were very supportive and very efficient and have done a terrific job of arranging our flights for the 4 of us to return home ,however, they made it to make a flight reservation for the four of us, was absolutely amazing. In a short period of time they've sent us our flight itineraries and the next thing we knew, we were at the airport and had flown out on time without any struggle or issues. I would highly recommend 206tours. They are so efficient, professional and their customer service is terrific.Thank you Milanka and Javier.God bless 206tours always. DaisyU.
I have just returned from the Classic Italy pilgrimage. This was my first pilgrimage with any company, but many in our group had traveled with 206 before. As this was a pilgrimage, we enjoyed the company of Fr Jay Harrington, OP, as our spiritual director. His care for each pilgrim was beyond expectation, and his preaching was inspiring and personal. I was completely surprised at the locations that were arranged for our daily masses. We had mass in a crypt chapel below the floor of St Peters, for example. Every mass was in a special location that radiated with centuries of love and devotion. Accommodations were top of the line. Food was carefully chosen, and provisions were made for special diets. My friend had a small medical issue that our guide resolved as soon as we alerted her, and she continued to check in about it every day. The brochure does mention that each day will include walking, but we were astonished that we averaged 3.5 miles a day and there were lots of stairs. It was good for our bodies, but way more than I expected and a little hard on our older or less healthy pilgrims. Our guide Federica is the best! She was a mother hen whom we all fell in love with. Amos kept us safe and well-hydrated in the bus. The local guides were mostly excellent-Mateo, Luciana, and, of course, Tiziana, dahlinks!
We just returned from a pilgrimage to the Holy Land followed by a short add-on trip to Rome with our parish priest. It was our first trip abroad and we had some concerns. 206 was amazing!! They got us around without delays. When our 206 bus developed a water hose leak while in Samaria, part of the West Bank and couldn't send another bus while at lunch and touring our outstanding driver, Housein, was able to figure out a way to limp it back to Jerusalem using the many cases of bottled water that were there for us with minimum delay. Our guide, Jack was phenomenal! His knowledge of ancient history, BC and AD as well as being a Scholar of the Bible and church teaching was incredible!! His knowledge of local vendors, restaurants and sites that are generally overlooked was also very incredible! Our expectations were exceeded on every aspect of our trip. 206 guide in Rome and the Vatican guide provided us with an equally awesome visit. Our hotel was within a very short walk to the Vatican. Our first morning was a Papal Audience! It was transferred indoors due to extreme cold. Because of the awesome scheduling we were able to sit in seats along the procession and recession aisle and many in our group were able to shake hands with Pope Francis!! We never had to wait in long lines. We saw much more and our daily masses were held in very special chapels in St Peter's Basilica at the tomb of St John Paul II and at St Anne's Church and St. Paul's Basilica in the chapel of St Stephen. Our 206 guides and Vatican guide were beautiful people and provided the most outstanding service!!

Day 3, Caesarea - Haifa - Stella Maris - Nazareth - Tiberias - Cana Theme: The Annunciation
Following breakfast, we will drive to Caesarea, the former capital of Judea. You will have the opportunity to visit the archaeological remains of this ancient port, which aided as base for the Herodian navy. Shortly after the time of Jesus Christ, it was revealed to Peter in Caesarea that the Good News (to repent) is not only intended for Jewish people, but also the entire world. This is the place which officially ended the tradition of adhering to the Jewish ceremonial laws. As a result, Peter baptized a group of gentiles, the Roman Centurion, Cornelius, and his family. Continue North to Haifa. In Haifa, you will find Stella Maris, a Carmelite Monastery. The monastery is located above the cave where Elijah, the prophet, once lived. A colorful painting of this "wonder-worker" can be found on the ceiling of the Church. Following this visit, enjoy the scenic drive (with view of the bay of Acco) to Nazareth. In Nazareth you will experience the town where Mary once lived and where Jesus lived as a child (Matthew 2:23). During the visit to Nazareth we visit the church of the Annunciation which includes the church of St Joseph ( It's not Byzantine - it's from 1914-21 built over Byzantine ruins) which tradition identifies it with the workshop of Joseph and the house of the Holy family. We will continue with a visit of the Church of the Incarnation, viewing at Grotto the remains of the house of the Blessed Virgin where the Angel appeared and announced the good news. Following Pilgrims path we visit Mary's well, where often the Virgin Mary would have walked to draw water from the spring. The next stop will be to Cana where you will visit the Franciscan Wedding Church. Couples will have the opportunity to participate in the ceremony to renew their wedding vows. Your first day culminates with a transfer to Tiberias. Upon arrival in Tiberias, you will check-in to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 4, Tiberias: Sea of Galilee Theme: The Ministry of Christ in the Galilee
After breakfast we start with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. After this, see the remains of a boat that dates back to the time of Jesus, found buried in mud. Continue to the Mount of Beatitudes, scene of Jesus’ great Sermon on the Mount. Nearby is Tabgha, where Jesus fed the crowd of 5,000 and onto the site known as “Peter’s Primacy”. Here, after His resurrection, Jesus met with His disciples and told Peter to “feed my lambs; feed my sheep.” [John 21:9]. After lunch, we visit the remains of the fishing village of Magdala (Aramaic for “elegant”). During the time of Jesus it was a thriving place that exported dried fish and garum (a fish sauce reduction popular in Roman cooking). Excavations done by the Franciscans in the 1970s revealed the residential area of the village and the docks where the fishing boats would unload the fish caught in the Sea of Galilee. In 2009 a chance discovery revealed a 1stCentury synagogue at the entrance to the village from West. It is also assumed that Mary Magdalen was born here. End the day at Capernaum, from where Jesus launched his Ministry; see the synagogue which dates to the time of Jesus and the church built over the site of Peter’s home. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 5, Jordan River - Mt. Tabor – Jericho – Jordan River - Jerusalem Theme: The Transfiguration
Today, after breakfast, drive to Mount Tabor, the site of the Transfiguration, with time to reflect on Christ’s Humanity and Divinity. Mass here will be a good preparation for the journey to Jerusalem where Jesus was to suffer the crucifixion and resurrection. Drive down the Jordan Valley to Jericho, the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world, where we view Mt Temptation and an example of a Sycamore Tree. Visit the Baptismal site on the Jordan River then to Jerusalem, where you check-in to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 6, Jerusalem: Bethlehem & Ein Karem Theme: The Visitation and Nativity
Begin the day with a visit to the Second Temple scale model for an overview of Jerusalem as it was at the time of Jesus. A short drive takes us to the village of Ein Karem, birthplace of John the Baptist, to visit the church that commemorates his memory. Pray the Mystery of the Rosary on the walk up the hill to the Church of the Visitation. In the afternoon visit Bethlehem to see the cave at the Shepherds’ Field. The caves have soot marks of the fires that shepherd’s lit to keep warm while watching over their flocks. In the afternoon we will depart to Bethlehem, beginning at Manger Square, which stands in front of one of the oldest of Christian churches, the Church of the Nativity. Enter the Church and down to the Grotto of the Nativity which marks the spot of Jesus’ birth. Beneath the Altar, there is a silver star with the Latin inscription: HIC DE VIRGINE MARIA JESUS CHRISTUS NATUS (Here Jesus Christ was born to the Virgin Mary.) After Mass we will return to the hotel in Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight.
Day 7, Jordan River - Qumran - Dead Sea Theme: Early Years in Jerusalem & the Wilderness.
This morning drive down the Jordan Valley to Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Afterwards there may be time for a dip in the Dead Sea for those who want to. Drive through the Judean Wilderness where Jesus spent 40 days fasting, and it is in this area that John the Baptist lived and baptized Christ. Then to Bethany where He raised Lazarus from the dead. Celebrate Mass here before returning to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 8, Jerusalem: Mt. Of Olives - Gethsemane - Mt. Zion - Western Wal Theme: Palm Sunday and the Agony in the Garden
From the Mount of Olives take in the panoramic view of Jerusalem. Then to the Pater Noster shrine, where Jesus taught His disciples the Pater Noster — The Lord’s Prayer (Luke 11:1-4). Walking down the Palm Sunday Road stop at the beautiful little church, Dominus Flevit - “The Lord wept.” It was here that Jesus wept over Jerusalem [Luke 19:41]. At Gethsemane reflect on Jesus’ final night. The Garden contains trees, the roots of which go back to the time of Jesus. Visit the Church of All Nations to pray at the “Rock of Agony,” a section of bedrock identified as the place where Jesus prayed alone in the garden on the night of His arrest. Visit the Western Wall, to see all that remains of the Temple compound that dates to the time of Jesus. From here we will continue to the house of the High Priest Caiaphas where He was interrogated and imprisoned. Now called Peter in Gallicantu (“crowing rooster”), this beautiful Church also commemorates Peter’s Denial of Christ, his repentance and then being forgiven by Jesus. After Mass we will go up to Mt. Zion to visit the Upper Room, which commemorates the Last Supper. Nearby is the Benedictine Church of the Dormition. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 9, Jerusalem: Via Dolorosa - Holy Sepulchre- Western Wall Theme: The Way of the Cross, The Crucifixion, The Resurrection
This morning we start the Via Dolorosa (The Way of the Cross) at the Antonia Fortress, where Jesus was condemned to death by Pontius Pilate. From there He was taken through the city to be crucified. The Stations of the Cross lead, through the markets of the Old City to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Here is the site of Calvary and the Tomb of Christ. Mass will be in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. After breakfast visit the Church of St Anne’s, the Pool of Bethesda and the Sisters of Zion. This afternoon there will be time to revisit the Old City. Dinner and Overnight.
Day 10, Jerusalem - Tel Aviv - Rome
Today we depart from the Holy Land for on flight to Rome. Upon arrival in Rome you will be met by your driver and transfer to the hotel where you will meet the rest of your group. This afternoon our guide will introduce us to our fellow pilgrims and our priest who will be with us for the rest of the journey. We will make our way to Mass, followed by a welcome dinner with wine. This evening we will walk to St. Peter’s Square for Rosary (optional).
Day 11, Rome: Papal Audience – Trevi Fountain / Piazza Navona – Basilica of St. John the Lateran and St. Mary Major – Holy Stairs
Following breakfast, we will make our way to St. Peter’s Square to attend the Papal Audience, led by His Holiness, Pope Francis. (Papal Audience: Is scheduled to take place every Wednesday, pending the schedule of Pope Francis.) Following the audience, we will make our way to the Trevi Fountain built in the 15th Century to mark the ending destination of the Aqua Virgo – a man-made channel erected in 19 B.C or Piazza Navona where at the center: Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi “Fountain of the Four Rivers. After free time for lunch we will visit the Basilica of St. John the Lateran, the Pope’s Cathedral church where relics of both Peter and Paul remain under the main altar. It was here that Pope Francis was formally installed as Bishop of Rome. Next we cross the street to see the Holy Staircase which is believed to be a staircase from Pilate’s palace in Jerusalem and brought to Rome by St. Helen in the 4th century. Time permitting we may climb the steps on our knees in memory of Christ’s Passion. Continue to the Basilica of St. Mary Major, the most important and the oldest church dedicated to Our Lady. St. Mary Major contains a relic from the Manger of the infant Jesus. We will celebrate Mass, and then make our way to dinner and overnight.
Day 12, Rome: St. Peter's Basilica - Vatican Museum - Appian Way - Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls - Catacombs
Following breakfast, we will depart to celebrate Mass in the largest church in Christendom, St Peter's Basilica, built on the site where St Peter was martyred. Unsurpassed in beauty, a monument to the long history of the Catholic Church, to which pilgrims come from around the world, St Peter's is the grandest of the world's churches. Marvel Pieta and Bernini's amazing bronze canopy. Following Mass, we will visit of the Vatican Museums, containing a group of the most impressive edifices with hundreds of galleries filled with art treasures. See awe-inspiring relics, and works of art donated throughout centuries as tributes of faith. We'll cover The Tapestry Gallery, The Raphael Rooms and the most overwhelming Sistine Chapel, Michelangelo's Masterpiece, restored mural of the Last Judgment. The tour ends as we make our way back into St. Peter’s Basilica. Pope Francis visited the tomb of St. Peter, following his elevation, for a visit of devotion that lasted 45 minutes. He is the first Pontiff to visit the necropolis since extensive archaeological excavations were conducted at the ancient site decades ago. We will also visit the tomb of Saint John Paul II located at the Vatican. There will be free time for lunch, and then we will continue on to visit St Paul. Outside the Walls. Continue our tour via the Appian Way -- the oldest road from Roman times--plus the famous Domino Quo Vadis Chapel; see the ancient Baths of Caracalla, Arch of Drusus; Tomb of Celilia Metella, and the catacombs of St Callixtus where the early Christians hid themselves to escape persecution. We will conclude our day and wonderful stay in Rome with dinner at a local restaurant in Rome.
Day 13, Rome – Assisi
After an early breakfast, we will head north through the Roman countryside with its villas and vineyards. During your drive, your tour escort will explain the spiritual, historical, and cultural overview of Italy, which will help to orient you to this beautiful country and prepare you for all that you will experience in the days to follow. Continue on to make our way to Assisi, the hometown of St. Francis, the patron saint of animals and the environment, and the founder of the Franciscan Order. We arrive in time for dinner at our hotel.
Day 14, Assisi (St. Francis)
Today is a very special day, as we will spend a full day touring the home of the Saint that inspired our Holy Father. Pope Francis chose his name in admiration of the Saint of Nature and Servant to the Poor. Known for being a humble man himself, Pope Francis spent most of his life denying the luxuries of life, and preferring to live in simplicity and humility. Following breakfast, we will begin a tour of Assisi. Visit the tomb of St Francis. Explore the quaint hilltop birthplace of St Francis that still retains something of the atmosphere of the early 1200s, the period when St Francis began his ministry. Contained within the huge 13th-century Basilica are many of the saint's possessions and a series of frescoes depicting his life. You may kneel before the crucifix from which Jesus spoke to St Francis, asking him to rebuild His church. It was in St Mary of the Angels Basilica where St Francis spent most of his life. Here we visit the Chapel, Portiuncola, the rose bush, and the cave where the saint retired for prayer. Stroll the medieval streets of the compact little town. You will have some free time to shop or eat lunch at an outdoor cafe with a view of an ancient Roman temple, we go to the Church of St. Clare to view the relics of St. Clare. The foundress of the Order of Poor Clares followed the teachings of St Francis by living a life of poverty and humility. We will visit these two saints' tombs before dinner and retiring for the evening
Day 15, Assisi – Siena - Assisi
After breakfast we will head south to Siena, the birthplace of Saints Catherine (Doctor of the Church, and one of the two patron Saints of Italy, with St. Francis of Assisi) and Bernardine (known as the “Apostle of Italy” for his efforts to revive the Catholic faith in the 15th century). Siena is also one of Italy’s loveliest medieval cities. Here we will stroll the Piazza Del Campo, one of Italy’s finest squares and visit the Cathedral and the Basilica of St. Francis, containing the miraculous consecrated hosts that remained intact since 1730. After lunch, we will continue on to view the incorrupt head of St. Catherine at the Basilica of St. Dominic (Her body is preserved in Rome in the Basilica St. Maria sopra Minerva). We travel back to Assisi for dinner and overnight.
Day 16, Assisi - Rome – USA

About The Holy Land - In the footsteps of Jesus:
If you desire to draw closer to Jesus of Nazareth, come, as we follow in His footsteps. Each day of your pilgrimage you will have time to renew and affirm your faith; to pray and reflect. The Scriptures will come alive as you visit Our Lord's homeland. You will be inspired by the natural beauty of the landscape, in addition to its rich historical heritage It is an encounter that has changed the lives of many pilgrims, an act of faith and prayer. Pilgrims have been traveling to the Holy Land for hundreds of years, and as part of your pilgrimage, we include many of the rich traditions that have evolved over time. The maxim at the entrance to the Church of the Nativity says: “We are hoping that: If you enter here as a tourist, you would exit as a pilgrim. If you enter here as a pilgrim, you would exit as a holier one.” >We pray that same will occur when you join 206 Tours pilgrimage.
