Tzar is a newer built ship and the perfect fit for smaller groups and the need for a larger outdoor area in the summer. The enclosed cabin seats up to 5 comfortably and outside up to 6 persons. If you would like to make use of both spaces, we can accomodate up to 10 persons on board of the Tzar for a canal tour Amsterdam.

The sundeck is easy to open (and to close if needed) and represents the best spot for those like to enjoy the sunshine during the tour. While the other part of the boat has a roof, you can still open the front and side windows while enjoying the tour in the shadow / covered.

We organize private canal boat cruises on authentic, historic open and closed boats in the canals of Amsterdam.

Our small and charming private boat Delphine (1o persons) , our bigger canal boat Avanti up to 35 persons and our open boat Liverpool up to 18 persons.

We normally depart from the Hermitage Museum (Amstel 51) but if requested, we can also pick you up from your hotel to do the private canal cruise with your own group.

Please note that our office is at the Prinsengracht but our boat departure address is the Hermitage Museum.

Step on board of our floating monument Undine. This historical boat was built in 1920 in Berlin and used to be a passenger transportation boat for East/West Berlin. It has been fully rennovated to guarantee a comfortable and luxurious private canal tour. With its electric engine, semi closed structure and open sundeck its a perfect tour boat for any weather condition. Heating is on board for colder days. Capacity is up to 8 persons.

Small Private Boat Tzar (8 pax)

Tzar is a luxurious and comfortable saloon boat. It has a heated salon as well as a spacious outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is comfortable for up to 6 persons. The indoor area is perfect for smaller groups up to 7-8. A culinary dinner cruise is also possible and seats up to 6 persons for a delicious dining experience on the water.

How much is it to rent a private boat in Amsterdam?

The Amsterdam boat tour price depends on the tour length. The minimum tour duration for the  boats are 1hr, which starts from 250 EUR . You can extend the duration by 30 min for an extra charge of 90 EUR . 

All our private tour boat rentals include a welcome drink as well as complimentary coffee or tea. If you should want to consume more than the welcome drink, we have a minibar on board with a selected variation of drinks. The drink options can be conveniently purchased on board and are served in real glassware. 

For the larger tour boats, the Amsterdam boat tour prices can vary and depend heavily on the size of the group. Please reach out to us with your request so we can propose one of our larger boats to you.
