First time booking a cruise with NCL. Our cruise sets sail 129 days from today. We called NCL to request air deviation (1 or 2 days) pre-cruise or post-cruise, but NCL rep says it's not possible because the option for air deviation was only for limited amount of passengers. Was the NCL rep being honest?

A group of 10 of us just returned last month from an NCL cruise. A few of our party are really into their bourbon and one of those listed, as being included in the "package", a specific, high-end, well known brand, was conspicuously missing at the bars, substituted instead by a VERY low end well brand bourbon.
First timer on NCL
Mostly Princess and Royal Caribbean, this was my first cruise on NCL and have some thoughts. Ship: Was on the Norwegian Getaway, a "Breakaway" class ship. Liked the ship itself. Nice layout, rode nice, easy to navigate, lots of structural onboard amenities (water park, etc) Food: This was my single biggest complaint. The buffet was lousy.

The dining package is $94 pp pre-ordered on the website. Gratuities would be added on top of that, so the free dining is worth it if you want to enjoy some of the other dining options. For reference a 3 night package is $118, a 4 night is $136, and a 5 night is $154.

NCL quoted a price for flights that was cheaper than if we booked it ourselves, and they even threw in a free Airport to Cruise Port Shuttle in New York!!!! Wow how bad could this be.

For newbies setting this up, you essentially plug it in, look for its SSID, connect to the device, then go to it's homepage at https://192.168.8.1/ and scan for NCL or whatever other Wifi you want to repeat. Once you captive portal authenticate, you'll be good. Connect your Chromecast, etc. to the device's WiFi name.
