In 2000 Huggy Lowdown stepped on the scene of the a Presidential way on the legendary Washington, D.C. radio station WPGC. While on WPGC for eight years Huggy joined forces with broadcasting icon Donnie Simpson on his number one an unforgettable presence, for his hilarious comical take on everyday life, Huggy personality.

Hailing from our Nation’s Capital, Chris Paul has emerged as one of the most respected writers and comedians in the country. His career in stand-up comedy began in high school, and 20 years later Chris is going stronger than ever! Chris has performed his stand up on Comedy Central and BET, and he has shared the stage with comedy giants such as Martin Lawrence, Chris Rock, Drew Carey, and Steve Harvey. In 2006 Chris co-headlined a 2-man show at the famous Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. with Dave Chappelle. Chris has also performed with some of the biggest names in music, such as The Isley Brothers, War, and Maze featuring Frankie Beverly. Chris Paul is a veteran of broadcast radio, co-hosting the Donnie Simpson Show on WPGC-FM, Washinton DC. for 16 years. Now Chris is a part of the syndicated Tom Joyner Morning Show and can be heard on stations across the country.

On June 5, 2010 the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences presented Chris Paul with an Emmy Award for his work on Redskin Late Night. Chris has also lent his talents to several corporations for their commercial campaigns. Chris Paul has done endorsements for major companies such as General Motors, AT&T Wireless, and Apple. Wildin’ Out Wednesday: Comedians Chris Paul & Huggy Hilariously Discuss Politics

C omedians Chris Paul and  Huggy Lowdown joined Roland Martin on NewsOne Now for this week’s edition of Wildin’ Out Wednesday,  and things got out of hand in rapid fashion.

Instead of just telling a few funny anecdotes, the comedy duo chimed in on the hot topic of the day — the Republican presidential debate. Paul told Martin he thought he was watching The Wiz again with, “Donald Trump the brainless Scarecrow, you had Jeb Bush as the Tin Man , and Ben Carson is the Cowardly Liar.”

Outraged by Paul’s comment about Dr. Carson, Huggy Lowdown said, “How dare you talk about the Neuro -whisperer like that.”

Then, Wildin’ Out Wednesday became “Wild @ss Wednesday,” as Huggy Lowdown said, when Paul made the following point about African-Americans being happy that GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz is leading in Iowa:

“Black people, stop getting so excited that Ted Cruz is leading Donald Trump in the poll[s]. Ted Cruz is no better than Donald Trump — That’s like being happier the doctor said syphilis over genital warts.”

Later in the segment, Paul decided to comment about the direction of our country and how racism is running rampant. He told Martin, “They’ve even brought Black people and racism into the new movie Star Wars.”

Paul said when actress Janine Turner   appeared on Fox Business Channel, she explained Darth Vader “was on the dark force he was Black — that’s why he’s voiced by James Earl Jones, but once he went to the light force — you saw he took off his helmet he was a White man — saying Darth Vader was Black just because his lightsaber was longer than everybody else’s.”

Paul Walter Hauser has added another project to a packed upcoming slate.

The Emmy and Golden Globe winner, who in the last few weeks alone has been tapped to play Chris Farley in Josh Gad’s biopic and has joined the cast of both “Fantastic Four” and the “Naked Gun” reboot, is to lead “Press Your Luck,” a drama-thriller based on the true story of Michael Larson. Protagonist Pictures has unveiled the drama-thriller — from Plenty Good in co-production with Fabula — alongside a first look image and will handle international sales, while CAA Media Finance represents North American rights.

Samir Oliveros directs from a screenplay co-written with Maggie Briggs (“Joyland”), and the film is produced by Plenty Good (“Chronicles Of A Wandering Saint”), and co-produced by Fabula (“El Conde”). “Press Your Luck” is now in post-production.

“I kept having this recurring dream with a white-bearded man. I couldn’t make any sense of it until I stumbled upon his face on a VHS tape I found at a thrift shop. That’s how I learned of Michael’s story,” said Oliveros. “During our next encounter he said if we made the film in time for the 40th anniversary of his feat, he would guide us in the right direction. I’m glad we could make it happen with the support of such incredible partners.”

“Samir has crafted a unique and stylish telling of the incredible true story of a down on his luck everyman gaming the system,” said Protagonist Pictures’ CEO, Dave Bishop. “We couldn’t be happier to be working with the very talented Samir and our friends at Fabula and Plenty Good.”
