Desigual targets urban travellers with latest travel retail exclusive
Desigual will present its Autumn/Winter 2016 collection and latest travel retail exclusive products at next month’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition (stand E14 ).
Designed with the urban traveller in mind, the travel retail exclusive line features a shoulder bag with a brushed metal chain and a wallet with side zipper. Both are made of black PU leather and are embroidered with a colourful geometric pattern.
The bag and wallet are housed in a metal tin which features a matching geometric pattern and the words “Be my travel mate!” on the front. Customers can write a personalised message at the back of the case, which is inscribed with “Nice to gift you”.
Only 2,000 pieces of the travel retail exclusive have been manufactured. It will be available from August at selected airports, on cruise lines and in border stores.
Said to be a metaphor of the 21st century city, the AW2016 collection, entitled ‘It’s not the same’, comprises rich materials and details such as English lace, rib knits, 100% cotton and leather, kimono patchwork, soft velvet and Paris jacquard.
