Maybe a little heavier than the Black Ace 93? Could be interesting although I really should play a bigger head size.

Seems like the first version was maybe a Japan only release? Wonder if that means this one will be too. Even it it comes to the US, I doubt it'll be any time soon. TW told me recently they aren't expecting the 2020 Black Ace series until July/August at the earliest now so I bet any other new lines are similarly delayed if not more.  

A quick search reveals that this is the third incarnation. Version 0.7 is red ( Redondo Mid ? ). Version 1.0 is black ( Black Ace 93 ? ). And this is no. 3. Any idea how the previous two played?

Wow! ... This is interesting! The specs seem close to the Redondo, a tad stiffer, but no swingweight info. May have to ask my cousin in Japan to get this.

I'd say China...  

From the paint job, PK combined the colors of the Heritage Type C (silver), the Redondo (red), and the BlackAce (black). Does this stick "combine" the merits of the three sticks? That would be interesting. Heritage type C hits a ton, quite muted, but heavy and not as fast as the Redondo. Redondo weighted and balanced just right, soft, fast, but a tad too noodly and not enough power for many. BlackAce 93 was crisper, fast, but too light and hollow-ish, and nothing much to write home about. (I had to mod it so much.) We'll have to see ...  

Wow. I have high hopes for this one.

Just got a shipment of three of these babies. Was told they only made one batch of a limited number in Japan in 2020. Was a lot of hassle to track them down and get them shipped to the US. Excited.

This looks great.  

Got them late 2021. Didn’t get to play much tennis due to COVID situation. Did hit with two different setups twice. Solid as expected. Drives the ball from ground really well. Compatible to my Prestige mid and PS85. Don’t have a Prince 93 to compare.  

I just bought one lol. #VivaLaMids

shame they don't do the 98 Midplus as well (aka Seppi's racquet), you would think it would be more popular than the 93, but I guess they don't want to take sales from the Q Tour  

Well it just arrived. Thing looks gorgeous in person. Very clean. Will spec it out later today and string it up.  

So specs unstrung: 325.5g, 30.6cm, SW297. Nearly identical to my new PC2.0

From my post in the racketholic thread. I hit with this and was comparing it to the 2023 Prestige Tour and PC2.0 Biggest surprise of the 3 goes to the C1 Pro Tour - This is easily the sweetest sounding frame I have used in quite some time. It does NOT have the Kinetic beads, but it has that classic TV "thwomp!" and pop sound with each stroke. This thing is a keeper for sure. Its a 93" mid, but its got the rock solid stability that all 3 of these frames have, but with extra pop compared to the PC2.0. Just a hair stiffer than the PC2.0, but great feel and flex all around. And as an added bonus, it doesn't have a "flat butt" like so many rackets these days. It has a nice solid flared buttcap. If this thing was easily available everywhere, I have no doubt it's be a favorite among mid-users and racketholics. Definitely a very playable "modern mid"

Man another fail by PK by not marketing this to a broader audience. It sounds awesome like the Prince Phantom 93. Wonder how those 2 compare? EDIT - Ill answer that myself as I was able to source one on BezosZan. I have no idea when it will arrive or if it will, but I figured it was a safe play considering the frame is $170 there including international shipping.

It's a great frame. I liked the PC2.0 better so sold/traded away my pair. But it's one of the nicer "modern mids" out there with still great feel. I find too much of the a newer stuff is too muted

• 初級壁打ち太郎 1 購入者 非公開 投稿日 2022/08/30 まず、打感が最高です。 ボールが潰れた時のフワッと感が癖になります。 100平方インチのラウンド、ボックスの試打もしましたが、こればかりはこのサイズにしか無いように感じました。 さすがにコントロールもかなり良く、打ったコースにしっかり行ってくれます。 自分はコースの狙いがまだまだ甘いので、そういう時は甘いコースにしっかり入ります。 フラット系で打つタイプなのですが、回転もかなりかかってて返しづらいそうです。 あと、意外に飛びます。 以前はprostaff90を使っていたのですが、古いモデルなので当然生産がなくなり、今ではmidサイズのモデルがほぼ無いような状況なので、是が非でも定番モデルとして残して欲しい、という熱い想いです。

The C1 Pro is a wired mechanical keyboard with a classic TKL (80%) layout and many premium features like QMK/VIA support, PBT keycaps, a 1000 Hz polling rate, etc., which provides endless possibilities and a comfortable typing experience!

Program C1 Pro with QMK & VIA

With full QMK and VIA support, you can easily program and remap each key on the keyboard. The open-source firmware means endless possibilities for keyboard layouts, shortcuts, backlight effects, and more. 

Get the C1 Pro keymap working on VIA

Since the VIA code for the C1 Pro is still awaiting approval from Github, it is not yet automatically recognized. Please download the appropriate keymap JSON file below, open VIA, turn on "Show Design tab" on "Settings" tab, and drag the JSON file into the “Design” tab on VIA to get the C1 Pro keymap working on VIA.

An Epic Core Inside The Keyboard

A powerful ARM architecture MCU will provide more flexibility for developers. The polling rate is 1000 Hz right out of the box, which makes the latency hardly noticeable even in competitive games.

OEM Profile Double-Shot PBT Keycaps

Engineered with double-shot keycap set on White and RGB Backlight versions,  the PBT keycaps will provide excellent oil resistance, enhance the type feel, and prevent the legends from fading out.

Suitable For All Devices

The C1 Pro has a system toggle and additional customized keycaps for Windows and macOS systems. And you can even configure different keymaps for Mac and Windows devices, while VIA software is compatible with macOS, Windows, and Linux.

Hot-Swappable

The hot-swappable sockets are mounted on the PCB, so you can install or change the switches without soldering (for hot-swappable version only). The PCB supports both 3-pin and 5-pin MX mechanical switches.

South-Facing RGB LED Lights

The south-facing RGB LED designs to better illuminate the keyboard backlight from the typist’s angle with the premium non-shine-through PBT keycaps installed. The backlight is also free from interference when the users install Cherry-profile alternative keycaps on the keyboard. Also, it comes with 22+ types of RGB light in different styles (flashing, breathing, static red, etc.) to match your mood.

Pre-lubed Keychron K Pro Switch

By optimizing the switch mold, the K Pro switch wobbles less than a standard mechanical switch and feels smoother on each hit. Plus, the factory pre-lubed process on all the K Pro switches (exclude the clicky ones), no doubt this will ensure the best smoothness at your fingertips when typing.

Ergonomic Support

Three levels of adjustable typing angle (4.8º, 8.5º & 10.7º) and curved OEM-profile keycaps are all working together to provide long-lasting ergonomic support for your wrist.

I got this during prime day with the red switches option and it did not disappoint. The switches feel very nice and smooth, the stabilizers are also very solid and basically don't rattle at all. I also really love the colors on the keycaps, the photos don't do justice to how pretty the keyboard is. Overall, a very good keyboard for the price, even without discounts

Got the red switch option, switches feel nice and smooth, stabs are solid and lubed, couldnt notice any significant rattle. Good keycaps. Typing experience is satisfactory. Build quality is solid too, the keyboard feels sturdy, although it feels a little hollow. Hollowness could be easily reduced by inserting foam inside (a little sheet of foam comes in the box). The latency of the keyboard is good for any types of games or daily use. Overall: a simple, sturdy, good looking keyboard.
