I had a wonderful time. The guided tour was great. The guide Jacob and Brenda were fantastic.

Northern California (8 Days)
It was everything I hoped it would be and more. Very enjoyable and fun.
Nature's Best: Alaska
We loved everything except the boat tour out of Seward. The seas were way too rough to go out. It was the final tour of the year on that boat. It should of been cancelled and refunded in full. We received $50 each back because the tour was shortened from 6 hours to 5 hours. I repeat again. Waste of time. I did not take a picture. People were throwing up (plenty of them). Did not see any whales. We were notified the day before that the seas could be rough. Globus should of taken the initiative and cancelled. Did not have a good time at all.
Real Big Apple to Big Easy
Natural Highlights of California National Geographic Journeys
Fantastic trip, well well organised our CEO Lisa was the best tour guide we have ever had.
Highlights of the Canyonlands
Overall is was a very good experience. The sites were amazing, some motels were excellent others were good. Tour guide Andrew was very good and very informative. Bus driver Randy was excellent, getting us to each destination on time and safely. I would have liked breakfast to be included at each stay. I would also liked if more optional excursions such as a trail ride be available. It was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend Tour Radar and Cosmos tours to my friends and family. Thank you!
Wonders of the American West (Classic, 10 Days)
We had a wonderful time. Don't expect five star hotels as this was, for the most part, in the accommodations in the National Parks. Richard Nieto, our driver was great! The tour was well planned out and made the maximum use of the time. Beautiful scenery. I would recommend this to anyone wishing a rustic experience.
East Coast Explorer: 8-Day Group Tour of New York, Boston & Washington DC Adventure
A lot of travelling but you get to see a lot in a short amount of time. Excellent guides!
America's National Parks with Denver
Excellent driver and director. Would have liked more time in Yellowstone as there was a lot we didn’t get to see eg Grand Prismatic Spring which was disappointing. Good hotels
Fall Colours of New England (10 Days)
The experience was wonderful, the tour guide, the driver and everyone involved in the support of the people during the trip. We went more places than mentioned in the brochure and the ones mentioned were great. The only disappointment was the timing of the colors. This is always a crap shoot and we were a week to early! However the other attractions on the tour made up for the colors. ***** Thanks to all the support staff !!
American Gateway – 4 Days
The sights were amazing but this is a lot of ground covered in a short amount of time. Perfect if you have few days and want to see as much as you can but it’s a little exhausting. Would have loved two days in Washington to see everything and not feel rushed. Our guides were wonderful. Joseph was especially interesting and thorough. The hotels were very good but would have liked to reach them a little earlier in the evening to settle in. Nevertheless, we had an awesome time and the impressions of the iconic sights seen will stay with us always.
Golden State Getaway: 9-Day California Calling Tour to Los Angeles, Yosemite, and San Francisco
Verry nice but a bit stressfull
Boston Cape Cod & The Islands (Classic, 8 Days)
Cons: 1. Daniel Webster Inn was over-rated. Would not stay there again. 2. Visit to the Plimouth Plantation was a waste of time. Spent way too much time there. 3. Transportation from Logan Airport to the Boston Hyatt was a mess!!!! No signs, no directions, and the taxi driver had no idea what to do with the voucher. Ended up paying for the taxi! Ridiculous!! 4. Service at the included dinner at the Daniel Webster Inn was horrible!! Kathy (our waitress) should be fired! However, the food was delicious! 5. Not enough time spent in Nantucket. 6. Way too much time spent at the Breakers in Newport. 7. This should not be considered an 8-day tour. All we did on day 8 was ride on the bus to the airport! Pros: 1. Tour director Robin was outstanding!! Wellness director, Brittany, was also fabulous! 2. Canolis, Cape Code Chips and Cape Codders on the bus was a nice touch! Thoroughly enjoyed the snacks on the bus! 3. Ferry to Martha's Vineyard was fun! Thoroughly enjoyed the talk session/information about the Martha's Vineyard Camp Meeting Association. Very interesting. 4. Local guide tour of Nantucket Island was great! Lots of interesting information. Not enough time spent in Nantucket. 5. Loved the Harbor View hotel! 6. Sailing on the Adirondack II was THE BEST!! Need to offer more than one Mimosa! 7. Luggage service was great.
Cultural USA Tour Reviews
I love my tour guide Pasquale. He is the most sweetest, friendliest, kind, generous, and genuine tour guide I know. He really knows everything during my trip. He’s very easy going and I had the best experience ever in the 5 days I was traveling. Amazing experience and I would highly recommend Pasquale if you wanna travel with him and experience so much travelling for Wild West tour. Thank you so much an amazing and unforgettable experience.
Overall the tour was very enjoyable. The scenery was beautiful. Though the Vail stop was a disappointment as most shops and eateries closed. Cruise Director was very informative and very knowledgeable of the places. Captain Ron was most helpful getting us on and off the bus. Also a very good driver.
It was great. Tough schedule but I liked it.

The Best USA Tours for Your Bucket List: Cultural Insights and Natural Wonders Await
On the hunt for a spectacular USA tour to see the country’s sprawling landscapes and iconic landmarks? Dive right in with these unique adventures.
Planning a trip to the United States can feel a bit overwhelming. The vast landscape covering nearly 3,000 miles from the Pacific to the Atlantic Ocean isn’t just big; it’s packed with things to do . Imagine epic national parks and lively cities dotting the prairies, mountains, and valleys from coast to coast – welcome to the USA.
A great way to learn more about the USA is to pick a region and dive into its history, culture, and natural landscapes. Choosing a guided tour of the United States makes it that much easier to navigate. But where should you go and which tour should you book? No need to fret. I got you covered with an action-packed list of the 10 best USA tours you’ll want to consider for your holiday in North America .
Western USA National Parks Explorer
This 2-week tour of the US sets you up with the best of both worlds – you hit some of the most famous national parks in the USA and pair that with overnights in two of the most iconic cities in the American West. Start off in San Francisco before making your way to Yosemite and Death Valley in California. Talk about a contrast of landscapes – from the waterfalls and towering granite mountains in Yosemite to the salt flats and dark desert skies in Death Valley. After an overnight stay in Vegas, you’ll head to two of Utah’s Mighty Five before reaching the crown jewel of one of the best guided tours the USA offers – the Grand Canyon . Buckle up, and get ready for the most scenic sites in the West.
Best of Yellowstone & Grand Teton
Few places in the world feature the rugged beauty and diverse wildlife of Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. One of my favourite ideas for USA tours is this 7-day adventure . It truly shows you a side of wild Wyoming that will keep you reaching for your camera when you visit two of the most scenic national parks in the USA. Start in Grand Teton National Park, where you can hike to epic waterfalls and take a boat ride on the picturesque Jenny Lake.
Next, you’ll move to Yellowstone, where you can witness the famous geysers, roaming bison, and cascading Union Falls firsthand.
Hotels and breakfasts are part of the package, but you’ll need to carry some extra cash for lunch and dinner.
Tennessee Music Trail to New Orleans
If you want to experience the iconic music scene of America’s south, this 6-day guided tour from Tennessee to New Orleans is a perfect choice.
Stops include the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, the legendary rock & roll recording studio Sun Studio in Memphis, and the birthplace of jazz, New Orleans. You’re set up with your hotels, breakfast, and private transportation but are on your own for most lunches and dinners. But not to worry. You won’t need to look far to find the best food in the country in any of the destinations on this USA guided tour.
Best of Utah & Arizona National Parks
The American Southwest is one of the most incredible sections of the USA, so it’s no surprise one of my favourite tours is this 7-day adventure through Arizona and Utah. Tick three of the bucket list parks in the USA with Zion, Bryce, and the Grand Canyon. Not bad, right? You won’t need to worry about lodging, and you’ll also enjoy a few free breakfasts and lunches on the trip. If you want to splurge (highly recommended), add a Grand Canyon Helicopter Tour for $350, where you’ll get a chance to photograph the iconic stretch of the Colorado River from an aerial view.
Remember that this tour offers shared accommodations, but you can reserve your room for an extra $1549.
Fall Colours from Montreal to Boston
Looking for US tours in the Northeast? This 12-day tour is unique because you’re actually getting a look at some of the most scenic roadways, hiking trails, and cities in not 1 but 2 North American countries. You start your trip in Montreal before heading down to the United States through the incredible New England state of Maine. Enjoy the most scenic views of the rocky shores and storied lighthouses along the Atlantic Ocean. But the real highlight of a trip to the Northeastern United States in the fall are the magnificent views of the maples, oaks, and birch trees in Acadia National Park, Ogunquit, and Salem. Cap the tour off with some time in Boston, where you take a tour of Harvard with a local student. New England is always a treat, but it just hits different in the fall.
Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta, New Mexico and Eclipse
This 10-day tour of New Mexico takes off in the gorgeous Southwest city of Albuquerque before exploring the rugged wild west landscapes of Taos, Durango, and Mesa Verde National Park.
You’ll spend time in the impossibly charming Santa Fe , where you can browse through the endless art galleries and museums before experiencing New Mexican cuisine at your own pace. Order anything and everything with green chile. As for planned excursions, you take a train ride through the canyons and mountain landscape of Durango, watch the iconic colourful aircraft at the Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque, and visit a UNESCO pueblo in Taos on this popular tour of New Mexico. This one’s a winner.
Washington DC to New York City Discovery
If you want to stick to some of the most famous cities in the USA on your guided tour, book this 7-day itinerary from Washington, DC to New York City.
Not only will you visit the top museums and attractions in DC, including the Smithsonian, National Mall, and Capital Hill, but you’ll also enjoy a guided tour that explains the history and fun facts at each stop on an electric roadster. Your American history tour continues at the Civil War site of Gettysburg and the Amish village in Lancaster before spending overnight stays in Philadelphia and NYC .
USA Road Trip – Highway 1 and San Francisco
Take a drive down one of the most scenic stretches of highway anywhere in the world on California’s Highway 1.
One of my favourite guided tours in the USA is this 4-day road trip along the Pacific Coast Highway that includes stops at laid-back towns and bustling cities, including Los Angeles , San Luis Obispo, Carmel , and Santa Cruz. But this trip is also a dream if you love the great outdoors. You’ll camp under the stars for 2 of the 3 nights and visit pristine stretches of coastal California at Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park. End your drive in San Francisco, where you’ll get a quick breakdown of the idyllic Nor Cal city from your guides before setting off on your own.
Outdoor Alaska
Not content staying in the lower 48 on your USA tour? Head to Alaska on this 13-day tour . See the tallest mountain in the USA at Denali, view glaciers and fjords in Kenai Fjords National Park, and (if you’re lucky) catch a peak of the Northern Lights .
You’ll start your journey in Anchorage and set sail on ferries or drive backcountry roads to some of the most celebrated wilderness locales like Wrangell St. Elias National Park and the Tangle Lakes. I love the flexibility of this tour, which allows you to choose your own adventures, like ice climbing, white water rafting, ocean kayaking, and a flight over Denali. Practical Tips for Exploring USA Tours
- When you plan your USA tour, timing matters. If you’re trying to see the autumn colours in New England, want to explore the remote beaches of Big Sur, or hike Utah’s Mighty Five, you’ll want to be sure you’re visiting during the optimal time.
- Tours of the USA generally focus on one state or region. If you plan to see more of the USA, you can book more than one tour on your holiday.
- Check the weather for your tours of America. You may need to bring your warmest clothes in the winter and lightweight, loose-fitting outfits in the blazing summer heat. Read my guides on how to pack for different trip itineraries here .
- USA tour packages are on the expensive side. Plan ahead and use resources like Skyscanner to save money on your flight.
- The best USA tours fill up fast. Plan your trip as far in advance as possible to score the most popular tours in the United States.
- Most travel tours in the USA don’t include flights. Factor this into your budget when planning your holiday.

USA - Tour Highlights and Travel Tips
Sure, cities like Las Vegas, San Francisco, New York, Washington D.C. and Los Angeles find their way into many traveler itineraries. They even offer more than enough to keep you occupied for weeks at a stretch. But America’s true beauty can be found in its wine regions, national parks, picturesque drives, exotic coastline and quaint little towns.
Tour Highlights
- Ride to the top of the Empire State Building
- Gawk at the majestic Grand Canyon National Park
- Walk across the Golden Gate Bridge
- Explore the natural phenomenon of Yellowstone National Park
- Take the ferry to see the Statue of Liberty
- Test your luck on the Las Vegas slot machines
- Get lost in Florida's many theme parks
Travel Tips
- The US is a massive country, covering 3.8 million square miles. Unless you’re planning on a (very) extended visit, be sure to do plenty of research beforehand and identify the attractions you most want to see.
- Bear in mind that the US does not use the metric system like most of the world. This is especially important if driving a car, as speed limits and distances are measured in miles rather than kilometres.
- Because it’s such a large and diverse country, you’ll find plenty of differences as you travel from state to state. The people, the cuisine, the accent and even the terminology changes between states. A soft drink might also be called a soda or a pop, depending on where you are.
- Be sure to purchase health insurance before travelling to the US, as healthcare costs can be very expensive.
- You want it? You got it. No matter the time of day or day of the year, you’ll always find an open shop or restaurant as you travel through the US - from fast food chains to old 24-hour highway diners.

Your expertise and the way you mesh like a real local made our trip so meaningful. We are already looking forward to our next adventure with Cultural Island Travel and even making excuses up so we can go back to Cuba soon.We highly recommend you as a tour guide/director. Rest assured that all of our friends will know about your company. So get ready for some more clients! Gracias!
I have always consciously avoided any kind of organized tour — but Cultural Island Travel literally handed me the country of Cuba. Our guide, Patricia, designed an intimate week just for us that absolutely dazzled my family. I have been gushing about Cultural Island Travel’s tour of Havana since we returned two months ago. They showed me the Cuba I had only dreamt existed.
Kristen, I am still mentally not home yet. Very difficult to come right back to work after a 24 year old dream is realized. I have been to 15 countries for pleasure, business and cultural exploration, but Cuba has far surpassed them all. Our guide(s) were excellent. Our drivers were excellent. I have new friends and brothers for life. Every turn of the corner is rich with history and it would be so foolish to walk those streets without guidance. Cuba’s history is a story truly told through its artists. I felt like I was experiencing every decade. Your service is flawless!

We have formed relationships with several of these communities who are excited to share their jungle lifestyles with you!
- Africa - Perhaps the most famous native group that we visit on our cultural experiences in Africa is the Maasai , who have found a balance between integration into the modern world without losing their customs and traditions. Several of our Africa tours visit other tribes that are even more secluded from the buzz of society.
