We were blown away by how awesome this tour was! When we got there and he said 'This is not a sightseeing tour' we knew we were in the right place! High-end machines, Chris was a great guide and the weather was perfectly muddy :) Y'all are incredible, thanks for the best ATV tour we've ever been on!

This trip was way over my expectations !!! The tour itself was awesome and the owners were extremely friendly. The ATV was top notch cars!! Going through the course was an adventure that i will do it again in a heart beat!!! At the end being all cover with dirt and mud. It's all worth it. Can't wait to do this again. Highly recommended for anyone who is looking into a family or bunch of friend activity!!!

This is a fun adventure! The owners promote safety while having fun. You will reach good speeds, climb a variety of terrain, and (despite it not being a sight seeing tour) enjoy the views.

Great time and highly recommend! We drove the 4 person RZR and we had no shortage of fun. The tour itself covered a lot of different terrain and the length was perfect, we even saw some Deer as we buzzed by. Chris and Lynn are great at making sure everyone is enjoying the tour at the speed they are comfortable with as they stopped us a couple times to rearrange the order to move the slower drivers to the back. Like they say this is no joy ride as we hit touched 40 mph a few times and even got a little air a couple of times. Make sure you wear clothes that you'd be ok with getting ruined as you will get wet and muddy (you can sort of control how much this happens). I would also recommend bringing a garbage bag and towels to wipe off. We will definitely try to make this an annual visit or at least anytime we're in the Lake George area.

Chris and Lynn provide an AMAZING experience at ADK ATV- safety is their priority, and then fun-- and let me tell you, they delivered! We had such a great experience on our 2 hour ride through the trails. Even while driving an ATV, Chris was attentive and made sure we were enjoying every second. I can't think Chris and Lynn enough for an epic ride. We will DEFINITELY be back again!

By far the most amazing experience ever. I have been on several different types of tours and this was by far the best. The ATVs were like brand new . Chris lets you really push them if you want. The trails are amazing and so fun. Im ready to book again. You definitely need to go here. They treat you like family.

The owner, Chris, and his wife and team gave us an amazing experience. We booked a tour with a bunch of cars for a bachelor party and he kept it as a private tour, and he was flexible with booking details and everything else. He was a great host, the trails were awesome, the mud filled pits were a blast to drive through and it was an overall amazing experience. I will definitely be recommending him to friends and will be booking another tour when I am back in town. Thanks Chris!

My husband and I went on an ATV tour earlier today (thankfully the rain held out!) and we had a blast!! Chris & Lynn were super friendly and welcoming from start to finish, and the trails were perfect-- nothing too crazy or intimidating. We had a lot of laughs, particularly on the one jump spot that he takes you to a couple of times during the tour. It was so much fun to get some air on that! After a few minutes of riding (we are newbies to ATV's) you become much more comfortable, so don't hesitate to sign up for this even if you are new to it. Definitely worth the money spent; it was a unique and memorable experience that we would gladly come back again for when visiting Lake George. Thank you Chris & Lynn!

WOW! What a ride! We travel frequently and we are very adventurous vacationers. We love snow mobiles, dog sledding, gondolas, 4 wheelers - you name it we've done it. This was our first time on ATV's and it was incredible. The machines were in top notch condition, safety was a priority, and Chris and Lynne were amazing hosts. The trails were unbelievable! The first half was a great driving challenge and absolutely beautiful views. Once they saw how everyone could keep up - we kicked it up a notch and the second half could be described as extreme ATV riding! We LOVED every single moment! Don't miss this adventure when visiting the Adirondacks!

Absolutely fantastic and worth it! Took my wife and two kids today and we couldn't have had a better time. The owners are terrific, very nice and accommodating. Probably the best time I have ever had in my life, honestly. So much fun and worth every penny. Hell, I probably should have paid more!

This private property offers guided ATV tours on 170 acres of groomed trails, rolling hills and pastures with plenty of scenic views. Most of the trails can be described as wide and hard packed with gradual elevation changes, but there is a challenging course set aside for the more experienced riders.

Visitors are greeted by professionally trained staff, making this a good choice for beginners or families. Helmets and goggles are provided with rental. After a day of riding guests are welcomed to hang out in the lodge, which has a wood burning stove and a refrigerator stocked with bottled water.

This facility offers a wide range of Polaris ATVs that can carry one to four passengers. Tours are offered daily (weather permitting) between May through October. Reservations can be booked online .

If you’re a thrill-seeker and you love nature, Adirondack ATV Tours is an absolute must when visiting the Adirondacks. About an hour outside of Lake George , you’ll find yourself whipping through hills, catching air and racing through the woods with trained professionals.

Chris and Lynn, owners of Adirondack ATV Tours, opened the business in 2014 based on their passion for off-roading and nature. After buying the property and establishing the trails, they began purchasing the vehicles from Polaris and growing the business. From there, adventure lovers have filled up their tour spots for years, loving what the couple has created.

When you arrive about 30 minutes prior to your tour time, you’ll be greeted usually by both Lynn and Chris, who do the tours together. They guide you through the necessary information, which takes all of 5 minutes — if that. Once that’s taken care of, they will assign you a vehicle and wait for the rest of the group to show. You don’t need any prior experience to ride.

Before getting into the ATVs, each person will receive a dust mask, a helmet and goggles. You’ll then get in your vehicle, strap your seatbelt tight and wait for the practice lap to begin to make sure that you have a good feel for the pedals and that everything is adjusted properly. The pedals are similar to a car and you stay in high gear the entire time. You can keep a small bag with you on the floor and there are cup holders for water, but be aware that it might get muddy.

Once everything is good to go, you’ll hit the trails! You’re allowed to switch riders once halfway through the ride if you’d like. Remember to slow down and maintain control around turns and steep hills, but straight shots are fair game. There were multiple times where we went flying over small hills, which was such a crazy feeling! We ascended and descended steep hills and dusty dirt paths. The ATVs can take a beating, soaring over huge boulder rocks, uneven ground, sharp turns and dips, where you actually feel surprisingly safe.

The entire process takes about 2 ½ hours, and the tours can leave at 10 a.m. or 2 p.m. Chris led the group and Lynn followed behind to assure everyone stayed together. Tours run all week long beginning in May through October, but they are weather permitting.. You’ll get dirty, so wear closed toe shoes and dark clothing that’s comfortable.

You’re out there riding for a full hour and a half, so enjoy it! The trails are winding, full of dips and twists. You’ll feel like you’re in an arcade racing game. It’s an absolute blast kicking up mud, flying through the puddles and catching some air.

Details About Adirondack ATV Tours

Adirondack ATV Tours allows for independent drivers as long as the driver is 18 years or older and has a valid driver’s license. If a visitor is not comfortable driving themselves, then Adirondack ATV Tours offers guides to drive. Passengers should be 50” or taller. All tours are guided and include hands-on training, safety gear, and a safety video.

At Adirondack ATV Tours, all ATVs have roll cages, seat belts, and operate like a car with steering wheels and pedal controls.

During your visit at Adirondack ATV Tours, there will be 1 hour of prep time and 1 hour and 30 minutes of ride time. Their 170 acre off-road park has miles of forested trails for you to spend your time exploring. Arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled tour time.

Adirondack ATV Tours are weather permitting. Guests should dress according to weather conditions, and should prepare for their clothes to get dirty. Close-toed shoes should be worn.

Accommodations can be made for groups with special needs if they contact Adirondack ATV Tours.

1 person RZR is $170. 2 person RZR is $220. 3 person RZR is $270. 4 person RZR is $320. These prices include a $20 damage waiver. There is a maximum of 8 RZRs per tour. 1 person riding with a guide is $75.

We decided to form a business around our love of off-roading and being in nature. We purchased a property, built the trail system, and bought our first Polaris side by sides.
