Absolutely a total frame up restore. All new interior birch wood paneling, refinished original birch cabinets, New counter tops, new flooring, new cushions and upholstery. New roof vent, roof coated and re sealed, all windows removed, polished and reinstalled. New 2 tone base coat clear coat exterior automotive paint job. All new wiring, new fresh water holding tank, new propane lines, new color matching propane tanks. Color matching wheels with baby moon chrome hub caps. This is as cool as it gets in the canned ham world. This trailer was fully restored by canned ham heroes. We take great pride in our vintage trailer restorations. Home built in 2011. Never really used. I bought an RV during the time I was building this and the RV suits our needs better than the teardrop for long duration trips. This is great for weekend trips and such. Only use was when my wife camped out in it for a night with a couple of our grandkids. They Loved It! It is constructed with 3/4" plywood walls and floor and 1/4" plywood top. It is skinned with FRP (Fiberglass reinforced Panel). The trim is aluminum and side trim is poplar wood with Marine varnish on it. The screws are galvanized and the trim washers are stainless steel and they are sealed with clear silicone. It sat outside all last summer thru some torrential rains and and I found no leaks. It is wired with 12 volt dc and interior has a two position (one light or two) fixture and there are also outdoor porch lights over the doors. The galley area in the rear has two 12 volt dc power plugs as well as an ac outlet should you want to hook up at a campsite. It has a deep cycle marine battery and I have also included two solar dc chargers and an ac battery charger. This battery holds a charge for a LONG time! Battery is stored in its own compartment in the galley area. The interior sleeping area measures 75" by 47" so if you are under 6ft. 3 you should be able to stretch out fine. The walls and floor are carpet covered and the ceiling is also FRP. It has a one speed crank open/close vent fan in the ceiling and is powered by 12 volt dc. There is a cabinet that has two storage compartments that have doors on them and an open center area so you can put a tv or laptop in there should you desire and be able to watch a movie or whatever. I planned to use my laptop there and play movies thru that. Also there is a shelf on the top of the cabinet. There is also another dc power plug in one of the storage areas and an access hole to run a wire thru. The interior also has curtain rods installed above the doors. A 4" memory foam mattress works great in this according to the wife and grandkids. Mattress DOES NOT come with this! I used that in my RV! The frame I used was a new bolt together frame that is rated for 1980 lbs. Plenty for a rig this size. The frame also has a 1000 lb torsion axle on each side for a total 2000 lb rating. Those were also new when I built this. Also new were the aluminum wheels and tires. Tires are Trail Express 205/175R14 trailer tires. There is virtually zero miles on them. Actually all parts of this unit were new when built and as I have stated this was really never used. This unit weighs in the neighborhood of 700 lbs so it would be easy towing even for a small car to tow. The diamond plating is not real metal. It is plastic diamond plate over plywood but could be used for patterns to have actual aluminum diamond plate made. All in all , not a bad little rig if you are looking for a tent on wheels! It is home made and maybe not as fancy as a "Store bought" one but then again, the price isn't anywhere near what the store bought ones cost. If you use the Buy It Now feature, I will include a nice new in the box Flushable Loo porta potty and two boxes of new liner bags. Also will throw in a new never used pop up privy tent that can be used to place the loo in or be used for a changing room or even a portable shower if you buy one of those solar shower bags to hang in it! This is a home built unit and is sold as is. No warranties are included. ALSO >>> This unit is available for sale AND pickup only until July 8th and will not be available again until August. So should you decide to buy, arrangements MUST BE Made to pay for and pick up by 8 July 2014. I will not be available to finalize the transaction or be here for pick up after that until again in August.

With RV travel, you don’t have to worry about hotels and also have the freedom to go wherever you want or change your itinerary on a whim. What’s not to love?

But RVs have expenses above and beyond the vehicle’s sticker price. Here are some hidden costs to consider to help you avoid money stress before you hit the open road.

Remember to account for how many miles per gallon your potential vehicle can handle and factor in any changes in cost depending on the places you may stop for gas.

It’s a great idea to find a garage or some other storage facility that can accommodate your RV when you’re not using it, but storage fees will add to the cost of RV ownership.

You may want to add special features to a basic RV, like a TV, Wi-Fi, dash camera, or other fun features. 

But additional technology adds up and makes the true cost of your vehicle more than the base price.

Adding a generator to your RV costs extra money. Don’t forget to factor in the cost of gas to keep it running if you’re not at a campsite with a hook-up to electricity.

Your dirty clothes can pile up if you plan to go on the road for long periods. 

It may not be a big issue compared to other items on your RV budget, but it’s a good idea to factor in the cost of doing laundry when you’re on the road.

You may want to bring along your car for day trips or small vehicles (like ATVs) for outdoor fun while using your RV as a base at a campsite. 

But bringing additional vehicles requires towing equipment, which can get expensive.

You also need to get equipment capable of handling the weight of whatever you’re hauling behind you for your trips.

The open road sometimes costs money, and those tolls can add up.

Remember to bring change to get you through toll plazas quicker, or invest in something like an EZ Pass, which can be used in several states to get past toll booths quicker.

UVW (Unloaded Vehicle Weight)* - is the typical weight of the unit as manufactured at the factory. It includes all weight at the unit’s axle(s) and tongue or pin and LP Gas. The UVW does not include cargo, fresh potable water, additional optional equipment or dealer installed accessories. *Estimated Average based on standard build optional equipment.

CCC (Cargo Carrying Capacity)** - is the amount of weight available for fresh potable water, cargo, additional optional equipment and accessories. CCC is equal to GVWR minus UVW. Available CCC should accommodate fresh potable water (8.3 lbs per gallon). Before filling the fresh water tank, empty the black and gray tanks to provide for more cargo capacity. **Estimated Average based on standard build optional equipment.

It wasn't that long ago when 68 teams joined the dance, and now the 2024 men's NCAA Tournament is nearing its end. After Sunday night, just four teams remain in the fray, with UConn and Alabama punching their tickets to Arizona on Saturday. Purdue joined them on Sunday with NC State earning the last spot.

UConn has the opportunity to repeat, but the Huskies have to get two more wins to call themselves back-to-back champs.

The 11th-seeded NC State Wolfpack surged past No. 4 seed Duke in the second half to win 76-64 and set up a date with the Boilermakers, led by Zach Edey . With the win,  NC State advanced to its first Final Four since winning it all in 1983 .
