Introduction to the 2021 Winnebago Voyage

A travel trailer that’s built for explorers, the Winnebago Voyage is designed not just for outdoor adventures but also for you to enjoy an extended stay in your favorite destination even if it’s off the beaten path.

Voyage features a drop frame design to provide a large exterior storage and there are lots of exterior storage solutions inside the travel trailer as well. It has 7 floorplans which all offer flexible arrangements and different furniture options to make your stay more comfortable even if you go on an prolonged vacation in a serene yet remote area.

Voyage’s exterior is equipped with LED lights to enhance your safety. It also has an enclosed universal docking station to make it easier for you to hook up to different RV services at campsites.

Voyage is a travel trailer that’ll make you enjoy the good things in life wherever you go.

Winnebago Voyage Construction and Exterior Features

The 2021 Winnebago Voyage comes in brilliant silver color with accents of black, gray, and white graphics. Its sidewalls are made of fiberglass with Azdel to make them durable, lightweight, and resistant to weather and temperature changes. Winnebago used a one-piece TPO membrane for its roofing to ensure that it is free from leaks.

It comes with fiberglass and radiant foil roof and front cap insulation. The front cap is made of fiberglass and has a gel coat finish. It is also integrated with LED lighting to enhance your safety.

Voyage has a drop frame design to be able to provide users with generous exterior storage. It also has an enclosed universal docking station which makes hooking up to connections at campsites so convenient. Its underbelly is heated and enclosed with thermo foil insulation to protect it from the cold weather.

This travel trailer has 15″ 6-Lug tires with aluminum rims and leaf spring suspension to enhance its performance on the road.

There’s a wide electric awning at the side with LED light. You can stay outside for some al fresco dining. You can hookup your TV or enjoy listening to some chill music over the speakers.

Some floorplans have 2 entrance doors. They also have glass windows to improve lighting inside the camper. There’s a screen door to help with good ventilation.

Voyage has a power tongue jack with a 2″ accessory hitch. This makes it possible for you to bring your bikes and other travel gears. There’s also a spare tire in case of an emergency. It is located under the trailer tongue.

You can also stabilize your travel trailer from here using the 4-point power or electric stabilizers. You have the option to upgrade to 5.1 auto stabilizing system.

There’s a roof ladder at the rear which will take you to the walk on roof decking. You will also find two 100-watt solar panels at the roof. They come with charge control monitor.

Winnebago Voyage Interior Design And Features

Most floorplans come standard with a tri-fold sofa. The beauty of Voyage is that you can choose the furniture that you need. You can opt for a sofa with chaise or theater seating so you can lounge more comfortably. You can switch the dinette to free standing table and chairs if they suit your taste better.

So, each living area is different depending on your choice as a buyer. But they all come with an entertainment center which consists of a LED TV and DVD/CD/AM/FM dual zone entertainment system with HDMI & Bluetooth.

The interior color scheme is called Brooklyn which features contrasts of gray hues, light colored wood, and matching linens. Maximum linoleum is used all throughout the ductless flooring.

A 15K BTU A/C with True Trax ducting system keeps the entire camper cool. If the weather is chilly, you can keep warm and toasty with the help of a 30,000 BTU furnace. Some units also come with a cozy fireplace.

There are various configurations of the kitchen but all units have a recessed 3 burner cooktop with backlit knobs, glass cover, and oven; a 30″ OTR convection microwave, 10.3 cu. ft. 12V refrigerator with pantry, a single bowl undermount galley sink, and high rise pull down faucet. You can upgrade to a 12 cubic ft. gas/electric refrigerator if you need a bigger fridge for your food.

All floorplans have more 2 pantries. Some even have a walk-in pantry where you can go inside to arrange and get your stored goods. The pantries, overhead cabinets, and drawers use residential panel doors and fronts.

There is a power vent fan to help remove food aroma and stuffy air from all the cooking.

All bedrooms come with a 60″ x 80″ queen bed with under bed storage and overhead cabinets. There are power outlets and USB ports on each side of the bed for your gadgets. Most have nightstands and wardrobe cabinets on both sides as well.

You can upgrade to a king size bed, get a TV, and a 13.5 aircon for your bedroom.

Voyage V3033BH and V3538BR have bunk beds so extend their sleeping capacity. This is perfect for those traveling with kids so that they also have their own space to retreat to. The bunk beds have separate privacy curtains. For V3538BR , you can even get a 32″ TV for their entertainment.

Voyage has a complete bathroom. The shower area is enclosed with a glass door to keep other parts of the bathroom from getting wet. There’s a large skylight over the shower to let natural light in.

You can see residential bath fixtures inside the bathroom. It has a porcelain toilet, extra large lavatory top with stainless steel sink, and a big medicine cabinet with mirror.

There’s a power vent fan to help keep it dry and odor-free. There are also heat and A/C ducts inside the bathroom to make you more comfortable.

What Floorplans Are Available On The Winnebago Voyage?

The 2021 Winnebago Voyage travel trailers are available in 7 different floorplans. Their lengths range from 27’9″ all the way to 38’11”. They can offer a maximum sleeping capacity of 4 to 8 people depending on your chosen layout. All units have a GVWR of 10,400 lbs. They all have a minimum of 1 slideout to make more space inside the camper.

Winnebago Voyage V2427RB

The 2021 Winnebago Voyage V2427RB has the shortest floorplan with 27’9″. It can sleep up to 4 people. It has 1 slideout at the living area.

There are 2 entrance doors to this travel trailer – one each near the front and rear. The front entrance door leads to the bedroom. It has a queen bed and there are nightstands and wardrobe cabinets on both sides of the bed aside from the overhead cabinets. A sliding door serves as a partition between the bedroom and the galley. You can upgrade the bed to king size if you want a bigger one.

Outside the bedroom is the L-shaped kitchen. It contains a single bowl undermount galley sink, high rise pull down faucet, a recessed 3 burner cooktop, convection microwave, and overhead cabinets. In front of the walk-in pantry is the entertainment center.

The living area is at the other side of the galley. It holds a trifold sofa, another pantry, and a 10.3 cubic foot refrigerator. A 12 cubic foot refrigerator is available if you want a larger fridge. Meanwhile, you can switch the trifold sofa to a sofa with chaise or theater seating.

The bathroom is at the rear portion of the travel trailer. It has a shower area, toilet, linen cabinet, sink, and medicine cabinet with mirror.

Winnebago Voyage V2730RL

The 2021 Winnebago Voyage V2730RL has a length of 29’11” and can sleep up to 4 people. It has 2 slideouts to enlarge the living area.

The entrance door is near the middle of the travel trailer. It will lead you directly to the U-shaped kitchen. It has a large sink with a high rise pull down faucet, 3 burner cooktop, microwave, 10.3 cubic foot refrigerator, pantry, drawers, and overhead cabinets. There’s a hidden pantry at the back of the entertainment center and fireplace. You can have a 12 cu. ft. refrigerator if you need a bigger fridge for your food stocks.

At the rear of the travel trailer is the trifold sofa with a sofa table in the middle. There are end tables at both sides and overhead cabinets too. At the other side is the theater seating which faces the entertainment center.

The bathroom is next to the kitchen. It has a separate shower area, toilet, wardrobe cabinet, sink, and medicine cabinet with mirror.

The bedroom is at the front of the travel trailer. It has a queen size bed and overhead cabinets. You will also find wardrobe cabinets and nightstands at either side of the bed. You can upgrade to a king bed if you need a bigger bed.

Winnebago Voyage V2831RB

The Winnebago Voyage V2831RB has a length of 31’8″and has a maximum sleeping capacity for 4 people. It has 1 slideout to make space for the living area. There are 2 entrance doors – one near the front and the other near the rear of the travel trailer.

The front entrance door leads you to the bedroom. It has a queen size bed and overhead cabinets. There are wardrobe cabinets and nightstands at both sides of the bed. Another wardrobe cabinet is located across the foot of the bed. You can upgrade the bed to king size if you want a larger mattress. There’s a sliding door that separates this portion from the rest of the camper.

The kitchen is next to the bedroom. It has a wider space as it occupies the entire length of one side of the galley. In this kitchen, you will find an L-shaped counterspace, single bowl undermount galley sink, high rise pull down faucet, microwave, 3 burner cooktop, drawers, and overhead cabinets. There’s also a pantry and a 10.3 cubic foot refrigerator. A 12 cu. ft. fridge is also available.

At the other end of the kitchen is the entertainment center and at its back, you can store more dry goods at the walk-in pantry.

The bathroom occupies the rear portion of the travel trailer. It has a shower area, porcelain toilet, linen cabinet, sink, and medicine cabinet with mirror.

At the other side of the galley is the living area. It holds a tri-fold sofa and dinette. You have the option to get a sofa with chaise or theater seating instead of the tri-fold sofa. You can also switch the dinette to free standing table and chairs.

Winnebago Voyage V3033BH

The 2021 Winnebago Voyage V3033BH has a length of 34’1″. It has the most sleeping capacity among all floorplans with 8 people. This unit has 1 slideout to make way for the living area. It also has a pull-out kitchen outside which has a sink, refrigerator, and 2 burner cooktop.

This travel trailer has 2 entrance doors. There’s one door at the side of the main bedroom at the front of the camper. It has a queen size bed and overhead storage. At both sides, there are wardrobe cabinets and nightstands. There’s another wardrobe cabinet near the foot of the bed. You can get a king size bed if you want a bigger mattress. A sliding door serves as a divider between the bedroom and the kitchen.

The spacious kitchen contains an L-shaped counterspace, single bowl undermount galley sink, high rise pull down faucet, 30″ OTR convection microwave, and a 10.3 cu. ft. 12V refrigerator with pantry. There’s also a walk-in pantry at the back of the entertainment center.

The living area is across the kitchen. It holds a tri-fold sofa and dinette. You have the option to get a sofa with chaise or theater seating in lieu of the tri-fold sofa. Instead of the dinette, you can have the free standing table and chairs.

The rear of the travel trailer is divided into 2. The left portion is where the bunk beds are located. At the other side is the bathroom with a shower area, toilet, sink, and medicine cabinet with mirror.

Winnebago Voyage V3235RL

The 2021 Winnebago Voyage V3235RL has a length of 36’4″ and can sleep 4 people. It has 2 slideouts at the living area.

The entrance door is at the middle of the travel trailer and you will immediately see the bathroom. It has a shower area, toilet, sink, and medicine cabinet with mirror. There’s a washer/dryer area inside the wardrobe cabinet. Outside the bathroom, there’s a pantry, storage cabinets, and a hutch.

The bedroom is at the front of the travel trailer. It has a queen bed, overhead cabinets, and nightstands at both sides. You can upgrade the bed into a king bed and it’ll come with wardrobe cabinets and nightstands at either side.

The kitchen is at the driver’s side of the galley. It includes a 3 burner cooktop, microwave, overhead cabinets, drawers, and a 10.3 cubic foot refrigerator with pantry. There’s a galley island in the middle for your counterspace and sink. You can get a bigger 12 cu. ft. fridge if you need a bigger one.

The entertainment center is beside the kitchen which faces the theater seating and free standing table and chairs. At the rear of the camper is the tri-fold sofa, overhead storage, and end tables at both sides.

Winnebago Voyage V3437RK

The 2021 Winnebago Voyage V3437RK is 37’8″ long and can sleep up to 4 people. It has 3 slideouts to make more space for the kitchen and living area.

There are 2 entrance doors to this travel trailer. One will lead you to the bathroom and bedroom while the other door is closer to the living area and kitchen.

The bedroom is at the front of the camper. It comes with a queen size bed and overhead storage. There are nightstands and wardrobe cabinets on both sides of the bed. Another wardrobe cabinet is located at the corner. You can upgrade the bed to king size.

The bathroom is right outside the bedroom. It has a shower area, porcelain toilet, sink, and medicine cabinet with mirror. Next to the bathroom is the entertainment center and fireplace.

The living area is located at the middle of the travel trailer. It holds 3 sets of theater seats which are placed around the entertainment center. There’s also a booth dinette at the middle of the camper.

The kitchen occupies the whole rear portion of the travel trailer. It includes an L-shaped counter, sink with pull down faucet, microwave, 3 burner cooktop, overhead cabinets, drawers, a 10.3 cubic foot refrigerator, and 2 pantries. You can get a 12 cu. ft. fridge in place of the standard refrigerator.

Winnebago Voyage V3538BR

The 2021 Winnebago Voyage V3538BR is the longest floorplan at 38’11”. It has a maximum sleeping capacity of 6 people. It has 3 slideouts that expand the rear bedroom, kitchen, and living area. You will also find a pull-out kitchen outside of the travel trailer.

The entrance door is located at the middle of the camper. You will immediately see the bathroom that has a shower area, porcelain toilet, sink, and medicine cabinet with mirror. There’s a pantry and hutch next to the bathroom.

The main bedroom is at the front of the travel trailer. It has a queen bed, overhead storage, and wardrobe cabinets on either side of the bed. You can get a king size bed if you need a bigger place to sleep in. There’s another wardrobe cabinet at the corner and it has been pre-wired for your washer/dryer.

The living area is to the left of the entrance door. It holds a dinette and theater seating. You can get a free standing table with chairs in place of the dinette.

There’s an entertainment center across the theater seats. Right next to it is the kitchen. It contains a microwave,3 burner cooktop, overhead cabinets, drawers, and a 10.3 cu. ft. refrigerator with pantry. A bigger fridge is also available if you want. There’s a galley island with a sink, pull down faucet, and counterspace.

The bunk beds are located at the rear of the travel trailer. One side of the room has a 30″x74″ bunk bed with a 72″ tri-fold sofa below it. At the other side is a 42″x72″ bunk bed with a wardrobe cabinet below it. You can also mount a TV on this area. There’s a hutch at the corner. A sliding door separates it from the living area.

Winnebago Industries offers 3 year structural warranty on all their towable RVs like the Voyage but it is recommended that you discuss the coverage and complete warranty information with your trusted dealer.

Winnebago Voyage Review

Since the Winnebago Voyage is relatively new in the market, most of the feedbacks that we’ve gathered are from fellow RV review sites and those who were asked to test these travel trailers’ performance on the road.

Voyage features ample storage and when we say ample, we mean just that. There are storage solutions outside and inside and in every corner possible. All units have dual pantries, some even have walk-in pantries! There are overhead cabinets, wardrobe cabinets, and under bed storage too. Keeping your travel stuff organized isn’t a problem.

You’ll also love that there’s a space for everybody. With its flexible floorplan and generous space, you won’t feel cramped inside the camper.

This travel trailer will also let you enjoy an extended stay in remote places. Its holding tanks have a very large capacity. It also has solar power. Some units also allow you to put a washer and dryer so that you can do your laundry while on the road.

The only drawback we’ve heard from the RV community is that you won’t know all these things just by looking at their website. For some reason, Winnebago hasn’t updated their website with the images of the various features of this amazing travel trailer.

The Verdict

With the 2021 Winnebago Voyage, you can have a relaxing time with your family whether you stay inside or outside the camper. The main purpose of a travel trailer is to make camping more comfortable and convenient for you and your family. Winnebago Voyage does that and goes the extra mile. Aside from providing complete amenities, you can enjoy nature at its finest a little bit more.

Here is our Winnebago Minnie Drop review. The Winnebago Minnie Drop is 1 of 4 travel trailers with the “Minnie” moniker. In this post, we are going to take a look at the Minnie Drop, the smallest of the 4 travel trailers manufactured by Winnebago Industries.

The Minnie Drop has a very distinctive style that not only looks great but has several advantages as well. First of the shape is very aerodynamic. The round front and back create an efficient shape that creates less wind resistance than your typical flat-faced travel trailer.

Inside the Winnebago Minnie Drop, you are going to find a modest interior yet surprisingly room. 6-feet 5-inches of headroom in the main living area is more than adequate for most folks.

A host of features and options make the Minnie Drop an excellent camping trailer. Let’s take a look at what else you will find on this travel trailer.

Minnie Drop Exterior

The exterior of this lightweight travel trailer comes in a variety of colors and graphics. In addition, there is a special addition Camo and Army graphics that are available on 1790 floor-plan only. (Not every dealer has the Camo or Army edition so email Winnebago to find a dealer near you)

The standard graphics package of the Minnie Drop comes in 8 colors and two editions.

The colors include Blue, Champagne, White, Orange, Yellow, Cherry, Green, and Platinum. The graphics are either the Standard graphics or Woody which adds a faux wood stripe along the side of the Minnie Drop.

This the Woody graphics edition in a cool platinum color. Notice the wood stripe along the side. It adds a bit of refinement to the exterior look of the travel trailer. You can see all of the colors and graphics variations here.

Minnie Drop Interior

A great travel trailer not only needs to look great outside it needs to be just as impressive inside. The Winnebago Minnie Drop won’t disappoint when it comes to the interior.

The floor plans that are available on the Minnie Drop ( 6), make great use of the interior space to provide a modern, roomy, cozy, and very functional interior. The interior doesn’t feel cramped yet has many of the things you need to enjoy spending time inside the Minnie Drop.

The Minnie Drop floorplans have the following exterior length:

• 170K: 18-feet 4-inches
• 170S: twenty-feet 4-inches
• 1710: 18-feet 4-inches
• 1780: 20-feet 4-inches
• 190RF: 20-feet 4-inches

They all have an interior height of 6-feet 5-inches. Several models have separate showers and toilet while the remainders have a wet batch (shower/toilet combination). The 170K also has a pull-out outdoor kitchen and bunk beds. The other models have a queen-sized bed.

Winnebago Minnie Drop Specifications and Features

As I mentioned previously this lightweight and compact travel trailer has 6 available floor plans. The 170K has the lightest Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) at 3,500 pounds, all the other models have a GVWR of 3,800 pounds.

The fresh water tank capacity is an ample 31 gallons on all models, and the black and gray tank capacity is 25-gallons respectively on all models as well. Liquid propane capacity comes in at 20 pounds across all models, with a 6-gallon water heater.

The included furnace is an 18,000 BTU unit. You will find either 7 foot or 10-foot awning on the Minnie Drop.

There is a required Value Package that adds over 50 features included but not limited to the following:

• Aluminum floor structure and plywood decking
• NXG engineered frame
• Night Shades
• Custom bedspread
• Carbon Monoxide / LP detector
• Two burner cooktop
• Cable TV hookup and lots more

As far as additional options there are only two. The wood grain graphics and a 15-inch offroad tire/axle lift.

Minnie Drop Review Summary

Overall I think this travel trailer is a capable, well-manufactured, and well-appointed unit. It is perfect for couples who want to enjoy the travel trailer lifestyle without having to invest in a huge pickup to tow their trailer.

An SUV is quite capable of towing the Minnie Drop. The interior is roomy and allows for two people to move about easily. (I’ve been inside one with my wife and we had no problem moving about the interior).

The features and options are useful and help you make the most of the travel trailer experience. The price of a Minnie Drop is $20,000 plus so they are not cheap by any means.

However, for that price, you are getting a Winnebago, one of the best travel trailer brands , giving you quality and assurance. If you can afford it and all you need is a travel trailer for one or two people then, by all means, get the Minnie Drop by Winnebago, in my opinion, it is well worth it.

You and your spouse can take the queen bed while your children sleep in the bunks. When they get too rowdy, close your bedroom’s sliding door to block out the noise.

The floorplan includes washer/dryer prep and a private sleeping space. Many of the beds fold up to maximize your available space. The exterior features LED lighting, so you can travel safely at night.

That sleeping space comes with a queen bed, although you can upgrade to a king-sized bed instead. In fact, many of its elements can be swapped out. For example, the standard refrigerator has a volume of 10.3 cubic feet, but if your family includes a lot of big eaters, you may want to choose the 12-cubic-foot fridge instead. You could also switch out the trifold sofa for theater seating or a sofa with a chaise.

2022 Winnebago Voyage 3235RL

The 2022 Winnebago Voyage 3235RL is one of the largest Winnebago trailers. It is 36 feet long and has a GVWR of 10,400 pounds. Admittedly, its sleeping capacity is fairly low for its size, but it has a queen bed and trifold sofa, which allows it to sleep 4 people. 

You can also boost the sleeping capacity by opting for a king-sized bed, but this travel trailer is generally best for small groups.

The floorplan features plenty of amenities. The living area has a galley island with a large sink, which you can use for preparing meals or as a table. 

The kitchen has a spacious walk-in pantry. The kitchen is situated next to an entertainment center, so once you’re finished with dinner, you can relax and watch TV.
